Will this fit on a cage that is not Critter Trail?
- No, not to my knowledge. We had a Critter Trail and it was pretty obvious that it was made specifically for them. I hope that you enjoy your new hamster.

Does this work for the pellet food I got for our mice? The pellets are about .5in in diameter.
- It does not work well for pellet food, as the pellets get caught. Works great with seed mix food due to the smaller size.

Would this work for rats? Due to the opening, I realize it would have to be placed inside the cage but have plenty of space so thats not an issue.
- This is intended for hamsters, gerbils and mice. It will likely be too small.

So I recently posted a pic of my hamsters new set up. People said that CritterTrail is too small for her. She has two cages and then tubes connecting them. She runs in her ball for 4 hrs a day with a break each hour for water and food. Should I make her a bin cage or keep the CritterTrails cage?
I am feeding and trying to catch a kitten thats living under an abandoned house. He/she looks around 3-4 months old but cant say for sure. How much n how many times is it ok to feed it? Been leaving a 3 oz can 3 times a day, usually 4 -6 hours apart. Its at my workplace and i leave at 11:30 pm. Thank you.

I feed them in separate bowls on each side of the fireplace. They are grazers eat some leave etc. I put morning portion in their bowl and then later if empty evenings. But she is having a hard time with her GI track she has been seen by 3 different vets all put her on a antibiotic and 2 put her on a probiotic packet all seamed to help but once she is not taking them she has runny stools yet again. Rabbit reduced appetite, urinating and pooing a little. 2 days ago was laying flat in cage like he had tummy ache, was very cold outside! Brought in and gave 3 syringes of critical care, a bit more alert have seen him eat a small bit of hay but no greens or pellets (that's I've seen!) Is still urinating and poking!

But each meal is completed in like 2-3sittings where i feed him.he also eats around 50gm dry kibble at night (free fed).
