for a russian dwarf hamster, 7 weeks old, Dimensions: 13.500 inches H x 20.125 inches W x 33.000 inches L, is this enough ventilation? the holes are at the top of the container, 4"x24"
I am setting up a new habitat for my 2 sibling gerbils. I want it to be as natural of a habitat as their ancestors in the wild live in. Which substrate would you recommend that would be as natural as they would receive in their desert environment?
So I recently posted a pic of my hamsters new set up. People said that CritterTrail is too small for her. She has two cages and then tubes connecting them. She runs in her ball for 4 hrs a day with a break each hour for water and food. Should I make her a bin cage or keep the CritterTrails cage?
What should I get for a year old rabbit? I’m a first time small pet owner & haven’t brought Mello (pet) home yet because I’m afraid I don’t have everything I need. I’m ordering hay, bedding, pellets & a litter box as well as an outdoor play pen. My friend is giving me a cage.
Hello, i believe a child has been too rough with my gerbil. He will not move anything but his head and front feet and will not open his eyes. His breaths are short and quick. He is 2yo and has never had health issues. I dont know what to do as no vet in my area will be open until monday.
SO i am thinking about getting a leopard gecko, but i am not spending a ridiculous amount of money on a cage so i am using a plastic laundrey hamper that seems about maybe 10 gallons and i am setting up little hiddy spots and stuff but i dont know wha tbeedding i should use and how much light they need please hep :)
Why does my hamster sleep in the corner when I’ve provided her a hide out? I got her a bin cage and the first night she used the hide out then started pushing it out the corner and sleeping right next to it. She also stuffs the hide out with bedding. I try to encourage her to use it but taking the bedding out but she just stuffs it back.
I have a rat terrier and got a hamster today.. is it going to ruin our relationship? she jumps in my lap when I am looking in the cage. And I noticed that when I was hugging my mother she started whining and jumping up and down... Soo confused and anxious right now
Gerbil care-gerbil with possible stroke
Hello I just brought home my guinea pigs two of them and they were restless through the travel and after I put them in the cage they have not moved around eaten or drank anything from 9.30 pm after they came home.I really am very worried as this is my first time with pet not just guinea pigs Please help Regards D
I'm looking to get this cage. The chart says it's good for two guinea pigs, which I have. In the comments a lot of people say their two guinea pigs were happy. But I just wanted to be sure. I'm thinking about getting this cage and then getting another later on to attach to it and expand it. What do you think? I'm stuck with a large rabbit cage and I know I need to get them something better so that's why I'm looking at this one.
My hamster just give. Birth on the top level of her cage is any way to move the nest down to the bottom level
