Can I fit my 8 week old dwarf rabbit in a medium?

A dwarf rabbit it approximately 2-2.5lbs, 5-6 shoulder height and 7.5-9 inches in length. The 8 week should be able to fit in the Medium Carrier with no issues. Hi - I have a cat named Reese's (4 cats in total). I am afraid I am never going to be able to get Reese's to the vet. She is sweet and sits by me and has a real sweet little meow, but as soon as she sees a cat carrier - you can't find her. She had an incident at the vet when she was younger where she had to have fluorescein dye put in her eye for a red spot and it spooked her after that.
