Questions
Can this work for a 1/2 grown miniature Cottontail Rabbit?
- I don't believe so. I know that a guinea pig would break it's back using an exercise ball and I don't believe a bunny could use one either. The ball's cutouts/vents are designed to allow a rodents fingernails to grasp them as a way of moving the sphere. We own a "Ware Small Animal Playpen" for use with hedgehogs and guinea pigs. I've seen covers sold to fit on the top as well as the bottom of those. I'm wondering if that may be a better option for your rabbit?

What is the diameter of the opening please? I'm a Pre-K teacher brainstorming an outside the box (or ball lol) way for students to mix their bag of homemade ice cream.
- You probably shouldn't use a rat ball for ice cream. It has ventilation holes so that everything will spill out.

Will this work for a young Syrian while I am cleaning her cage? I will keep an eye on her while in my room but I worry that her paws could get stuck in the air ventilation holes if I turn my back for a few seconds, Thanks!
- I'd get the giant for those purposes, not the mega.

Can small cats/kittens use this ball safely?
- Hello. If you're referring to the giant 11.5" clear ball, then yes, a small kitten could safely roll around in the ball. A ball smaller than that would probably be too small for your kitten to safely roll in. Pls don't put more than one animal in at a time, also, I would not leave your kitten unattended, and depending on how much exercise he/she gets, wouldn't leave it in the ball for more than 20-30 minutes. Of course, if your kitten appears freaked out when you put him/her in the ball, abandon the ball. I hope this is helpful.

Can I use this for my ferret to wander around my room while I clean her cage?
- Due to the curvature of their spines, we don't recommend exercise balls for ferrets. Instead, we make FerreTrail Fun-nels Tube Mazes! This promotes a healthy and safe exercise activity.

Could you use one of these for a rabbit? If not what would be a good exercise thing for them?
- No, rabbits don't run...they hop! They'll hit their head! Let them exercise outside! If they are in the house, there needs to be some kind of spray to keep them from chewing on furniture and cords...

Can I use one ball for multiple animals ? Not at the same time, but put one in, take it out and put the other in.
- Hi there, Colton! Yes, it can be!

How do you take it apart for storage? I have the 13" and cannot figure out how to take it apart, a bit annoying having a giantanic ball around 24/7 lol I've tried searching the web but many seemed to be just as confused and no answers.
- Hi there, thank you for reaching out to us. The only part of this Run-About Ball that will come apart is the top of the ball itself. The rest of the ball is not able to collapse. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Is this ball good for baby bearded dragons? I have a very hyper and playful one who loves to run and jump everywhere and I just don't want to lose him...can he use this 13" ball??
- Hi there, Steffy! Thanks for reaching out to us. There are a couple of reasons we don't suggest this be used for bearded dragons. First, their spines aren't meant to curve backwards as they would in the Run-About Ball. Additionally, their claws may get caught in the vents of the ball, which could result in injury to the animal.

Would this work for prairie dogs?
