Cover floor with loose product to a depth of 1-3 inches. Cleaning: At least once per week, remove all bedding and wash enclosure with a mild soap solution. Rinse cage thoroughly with clean water to ensure the removal of soap residue. Frequency of cage cleaning depends on the size of your pet's home and number of animals. Is this bedding ok for mice?
- I would imagine it should be. It can be broken up into smaller pieces and is very fluffy. We use it for guinea pigs, but I don't see why you couldn't use it for mice. We have 2 guinea pigs in a large cage and get about 5-7 days out of it before a cage cleaning is needed.

Does this bedding expire? I have a sealed package from a few years ago that I would like to use for a new furry friend.
- There is no expiration on bedding – but the lavender may not be as prominent, but it's safe.

- I use this for my rabbit, so it would probably be good for other rodent-type animals. In fact, your rats may like making 'nests' with it.

Is it safe to use "crystal" litter after paw surgery?
Hello my cat is an inside and out cat, I live in Florida. I have two litter boxes for him it is a clumping brand so it's an easy clean up, he has no problem using them. the question is the box I have put outside is clumping with out my cat using it, and when it does start to clump he doesn't use the one out side.... but still uses the box with the same litter inside. Which litter should I use out side?
Rabbit reduced appetite, urinating and pooing a little. 2 days ago was laying flat in cage like he had tummy ache, was very cold outside! Brought in and gave 3 syringes of critical care, a bit more alert have seen him eat a small bit of hay but no greens or pellets (that's I've seen!) Is still urinating and poking!

I have 2 ferral cats I took in. They have been doing excelent and I nabbed 2 more of the next litter and they are doing excellent. They have been inside 1 month. They are Karats. The oldest are males and the young ones female. The male got sick then 4 days later the other male did. Their symptoms are lethargy, lack of eating/drinking and now throwing up. The only new difference is scented litter instead of non. The vomit is watery. I treated ea for hair balls and feed them food for hairballs.

Family owns a farm, we found one of our cats that roam’s kitten drowning in liquid cow manure. When rescued the kitten was basically lifeless. About 2 hours ago. We got everything we could out of kittens airways, but kitten had rapid breathing and not moving we relaxed him and extended his body a bit. He can’t move at all but breathing of rapidness went down. He does meow faint every so often and we had been feeding him watered down milk every so often from a tiny baby bottle. Can’t take to vet.
