I tried introducing his water bottle but he only uses his bowl so I stopped with the bottled or a while now, how can I teach him to use it? Thanks
I got my Roborvoski hamster a day ago and I can't get him to drink from his bottle. I don't think it is too high or low, and I marked a line with a washable marker and it hasn't gone done. I also put a little peanut butter on the spout to encourage him but that didn't work either. My last hamster died after four days so I am really worried about him. His name is Mikey. Please help me!
My rabbit has stopped drinking by himself, I've checked if his bottle is broken and it isn't. For him to drink I need to take out the bottle and squeeze it and that's when he starts to drink and won't stop. I'm scared he is going to dehydrate. He is still eating well though
My rescue kitten is bottle feeding and I don't believe he's no more than 5 weeks old, but he keeps chewing the nipple off the bottles and I'm afraid he's gonna swallow one. What can I do?
I have 1 year bunny. He never drinks water. I tried so many times. He is with us from last 6 months. I tried to drink him with spoon, bottle, by soaking vegetables, but nothing worked for me. Kindly give me the solution why he does not drink water. Also he has runny poop. Which is just because of not getting complete hydration. Plz help
I have a 1 1/2 year old Teddy bear hamster and she constantly chews on her metal cage and water bottle. I have no clue why she does it and I’m not sure how to get her to stop or if she will stop. Any thoughts?
Baby guinea pig 3 months old.. I haven’t seen her drink from bottle and it’s got me nervous.. I give her carrots as well as hay and oxbow baby food, she lives with an adult 3 year old pig I think they still learning who’s the alpha but I just want make sure I keep her hydrated, they sleep in the same igloo so they getting along and I separate the adult from her so she can eat, the adult might be territorial so I separate for food time
My guinea pig drinks a lot of water during the day. I’d say I have 2 standard water bottles in their cage because I have Boog and Archie and recently Archie has been drinking much more. Boog worried me because he’d drink half of the bottle in a day and now Archie is sort of doing that. Can that be a problem?
My daughters guinea pig stopped drinking water, I noticed the bottle was slimed and gross inside so I ran out and bought a new one. She's still not drinking and not really eating her pellets or hay but is eating her fresh veggies! She acting her normal self!
Hello, My guinea pig Sweetpea doesn't seem to be drinking as much water as she should be, she is eating well, asking for treats, playful (popcorning) and being silly but I noticed she's not drinking much water. What might I try to promote drinking her water? Is that a sign of anything of concern other than she's not thirsty? Thank you, Jill in Wisconsin
My cat suddenly cannot seem to lap water from his bowl that he's had for his whole life. He eats his wet food just fine and loves licking the sauce up first. I've tried bigger, smaller, deeper, tilted, gravity bottles (for rabbits etc) with no luck. He just scratches the floor by his dish and meows. I've resorted to using a syringe to get water into him, but this is not a solution either of us like. Our vet looked at his mouth and finds nothing wrong. What can we do???
My rabbit has been either very close or with his mouth on his water bottle for a number of days. He is happy to have a cuddle or run around and doesn't want to go back straight away. I would have taken him to the vets but the last time he got so scared he scrabbled and fall of the table.
