Both of my cats love this! We put this bed with our other (largely untouched) cat beds by our couch. Unlike the other unheated beds this one is nearly constantly in use! Both of my cats will happily curl up for hours at a time in this bed and observe the rest of the house. One will even let out a purr! This is the only time she purrs outside of a cuddle. If you want to keep your cat with you while you work but off your laptop this is an excellent option!

I bought a size small bed for my cats, and set it up in the Petco delivery box. Now that it is winter, their paws get cold on the kitchen tiles, and they've come up with the routine of heading over to their personal spa to stand or cat nap inside whenever they want to warm their feet and/or tummy. Not too hot to the touch, and the bed is a nice soft fleece.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My cat LOVED this bed. I got it for her about 6 weeks ago and she has spent SO much time in it. I bought this bed because the description said that it was machine washable. I washed it today in a cool, 30 minute wash cycle, in a front load machine. I dried it on low with a couple of other items in the dryer. The fabric came out great. The padding--both on top of and underneath the compartment where the heating pad goes--is destroyed. It appears to be some sort of sheet batting that was not secured in any way, so it just folded over on itself and bunched up in the wash. There is no way to access it without slicing the bed open, so I tried to unfold and straighten it out by manipulating it through the fabric cover. The piece on the bottom, under the heating pad, straightened out somewhat, but the piece that the cat sits on, between her and the heating pad, is a mess. It's either 2-3 times thicker than it was, or there is no padding at all. This "washable" bed is RUINED after one washing. I have other K&H products (Lectro-soft) that have been fantastic, so this is a HUGE disappointment. If you are not going to make the padding washable, then make it removable. Aside from the complete waste of money, I feel so bad for my cat, she just loved this bed and she is going to miss it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t have my cats try it, but my elderly dog loved it so much! He gets so cold easily since he is a chihuahua. It’s a great size for him. The heat element is not too hot like a heating pad, but more like a product that heats up your hands.

This bed is advertised to only get warm when your pet is laying in it. This is not the case for the one I purchased, I plugged it in and without my pet laying in it the heating pad is engaged and heating the bed. I only purchased this because of the claim that the heating pad only turns on with weight, I feel like this isn’t safe.

It is very snuggly, but not very big. It is just right for a 7lb. Chihuahua mix. K&H has some larger heated beds that can fit both of my small dogs and the same time and some heated pads that might last you longer.
