I bought that Self-Warming Pet Pad for my cat’s travel bag. My cat immediately slept on it when I received it. It is well made and dense for the confort of the animal. Would recommand

These pads are wonderful … two sided and wash easily. We made it through some very cold days putting in our feral cat outdoor cat house … own two for easy switch of air drying needs a day (drys quickly)

I bought this for the stray cat I take care of, not knowing if she would go on it. First night I put it out, she was on it , looking very comfortable indeed. I’m buying another, in case she really just wants to stretch out. Thank you K&H for a wonderful product!

We love this simple mat for our kitty! We don’t have a heating unit in our home so some nights it can get cold. This mat is perfect because it allows our cat’s body heat to be redirected at her keeping her warm all night. She loves it and lays on it most of the day too!

I have this mat on my bed next to my pillow. My five-month-old kitten LOVES it. At first, he was a little suspicious of the crinkly sound it makes when he walks on it, but he got over that pretty quick. It’s super soft and keeps him nice and warm. He purrs himself to sleep laying on it and will sleep through the whole night. Big win!

Would this be good to put in an outdoor shelter for community cats in the winter, or would it just absorb and reflect the cold and not help keep them warm?

While our self-warming products are great for the indoors, they are not designed to return enough body heat for the cold outdoor temperatures of winter. Rather, they are designed to elevate the temperature of a pet bed that is already around room temperature. For outdoor pets, we recommend using the Lectro-Soft Outdoor Heated Bed, Lectro-Kennel, or Extreme Weather Kitty Pad. These are made for the outdoors and will provide enough heat for an outdoor setting during the cold winter month
