I have an 11 year old outdoor/indoor cat. When my father died last year, my cat decided he wanted to live outside for some reason. Since then, he has a heavy flea problem. For the past 4 months, I have been applying Advantage II but it appears to do nothing. What is the best flea items I can utilize to rid the cat and house of fleas? He does not argue with a warm water bath outside but winter is coming and he needs a real bath with flea shampoo. What do you recommend we do? Thanks.
Hello my cat is an inside and out cat, I live in Florida. I have two litter boxes for him it is a clumping brand so it's an easy clean up, he has no problem using them. the question is the box I have put outside is clumping with out my cat using it, and when it does start to clump he doesn't use the one out side.... but still uses the box with the same litter inside. Which litter should I use out side?
Hi. Since Oliver is the only cat here and I can't afford to have another cat, how do I make him happy and safe as an indoor outdoor kitty?
My indoor cat is 18 years old. She still eats and uses her litter box, but she has started meowing incessantly all night long and even during the day. No matter what I try, she will not stop. We had moved in October, so I figured it was an adjustment period. But it has gotten increasingly worse. Her hair is a bit matted because she cannot clean herself as well, but I do brush her and use cat wipes to clean her. How can I get it to stop? It's affecting sleep for myself and my kids.
For the last week my 13 year old cat hasn't been moving much. I have to bring him to his food and water. When he does get up to move he runs and hides. He's using the litter box and he eats and drinks as long as it's brought to him. There's been a heat wave here of over 30 Celsius so I don't know if it's the heat or what is wrong with him
My cat isn't eating and not used her litter box for 2 days she is an in door cat and 12 years old
Hello, we have a cat who is paralised in the tail and has no control of toileting. How would we be able to move him and keep him inside the house or someway that he doesnt escape but we can keep the place clean.
Hey my kitten seems to get really cold at night but he won't stay under a blanket. Should I just leave him be?
Hey. I have an indoor cat and I dont know that I'm completely comfortable letting him be indoor all his life in a tiny apartment. Now, I have bought a harness and leash designed for cats but I dont know how to teach a cat to walk on a leash or even be comfortable in a bubble bag. Hes terrified of going outside. When I tool him to the vet the other day and his heart was racing. How do I get him comfortable in these? I have tried Feliway, it just doesnt seem to work. What do I do?
I have an older cat 15 years old female and drinking less than normal water that I change daily and constipated and have switched to dry food with no grains and one small can of wet per day. Looking for constipation solution when more water not an option.
My white short hair cat has a sore area on her neck underneath her chin. It is approx 5cm round, hairless and has a red margin that is weeping slightly. She does not appear to be licking it. She is an indoor cat but escapes occasionally for short periods. We have another indoor cat too.
17 yo Himalayan appears to walk into furniture and walks in circles at times. Urinating. No diarrhea. Saw Vet one month ago, vaccinated, and groomed. No issues noted at the time. Indoor only. No other cats.
