Hello, I have a 7 year old black lab. He's a big boy who gets very hot in warm weather so likes to lie on the coolest surface he can find which is always hard. Consequently, he has callouses on his elbows but they have become a lot bigger this year and one of them looks sore. I just wondered what Ii could do to alleviate this problem. Is there a spray or some product which could help? Thank you.Judith Burke
My dog had the cover of his toenail removed 3 weeks ago exposing the quick. His doctor is on vacation until Monday. I change his dressing 2 to 3 times a day and use Hibitane cream to help the healing. He also had three small fractures in his paw there were removed. My question is should I keep changing the dressing and putting the cream on until I hear back from my doctor on January 7 Or should I keep the quick exposed to the air while he’s in the house? My dog has arthritis and Friday was vomiting. Now today she won’t get up and she isn’t eating. She also is shivering so we have covered up. Is there anything else I can do to make her more comfortable
My dog is a maltese/poodle and about 6 yrs. old. He was a rescue from PetCo. We are not active people being in our 70's and have med. conditions but he sometimes gets a run but usually a mild walk. He has been chewing at his front legs to where they are discolored. At his last grooming his eyes became irritated from the eyebrows being shaved too close and he kept rubbing them so I washed them with a boric acid solution made for humans. They seem better but still have the hard gunk on the edges.
Jack (12 lbs) licked an empty bowl of chocolate ice cream. The ingredient in the ice cream is cocoa. He probably got a few good licks in before I caught him. Again, bowl was empty, he just licked the sides and spoon. Help?

Hendrix has a small collar sore. I washed it yesterday with medicated dog shampoo (antibacterial + antifungal) and then I put a thin layer A & D ointment on it. I did the same today. Is there anything else I can use to help heal it?. He’s in not in pain or doesn’t wince when I touch it or cleanse it. just reposting to add pictures Also I have goodwinol ointment. Btw the black thing is his leash just to coax him in the tub, it didn’t touch his sore but he’s collarless
What is the best bedding for my rabbit
My 40lb boxer ate a little over 2cups of milk chocolate combined with semi-sweet. He's puked a lot up, now mostly watery over the course of 8hrs with sometimes 30min-1hr in between. He gets excited about fresh water whines at my door to be let in. He's always been hyper, but he's not overly hyper right now. Can't afford a vet bill right now, so hoping for more advice?
Good morning, My Chihuahua/Min-pin mix (Schlitzy) has been dragging his rear frequently for about 2-3 weeks. A week ago we had his anal glands expressed and the scooting cont'd. I bought an OTC fenbendazole dewormer, a 3 day course, last dose yesterday, yet the scooting is the same! He eats regularly, behaves regularly (other than scooting) and has stools that are solid. They are more more tan/orange-ish than brown and have had noticeable mucous strands. No vomit or diahrea. What else can I do?
