Dog Loves It!
Love it! I put it out inside the house for the first time at 8:30 am and it's still nice cold water at 9 hours later. I didn't try adding the 1" of water in the bottom of the bowl for extra time - I wanted to see how long it worked without it. The lowest temperature I measured was 2 hours later at 39 degrees. I want a smaller one for the vehicle though, as my dog does SAR and is in the back of car for long periods. This is enormous.

We totally understand the need for a smaller version for your vehicle, especially with your dog’s SAR work. We did have a smaller size in the past, but unfortunately, it was discontinued due to low sales. That said, we’re always looking for ways to improve, so your feedback is really valuable!

Keeps Cool All Day
While it is bigger than I wanted, it works very well. Our pup has decided she wants only cold water. Ice cubes melt quick. This keeps her water cold all day.

surviving the heat wave
We are rotating two of these bowls for outside use during the prolonged heat wave. They really keep the water cool for a long time in the shade.

Leak brown chemical residue from underside
Great concept but bad design. I've bought five of these bowls and they all leak a brown residue from the underside seam. This leaves a mess and the chemical leaking out cant be healthy for pets.
