Was rant bummed out to see that a portion of the foam inside bed is folded when we opened it up. We had tried to fix it but there is no way.

Comfy and cool times.

I’ve had the Cool mat ll. for five years and the Cool Mat lll. for 3 years. It continues to give my dog Gallo relief year round with summers being the most useful time. I believe the key to the mat’s longevity is seldom moving it and if having to move, drag instead picking the mat up.

Keeps my diabetic dachshund cool and comfortable!

Sophie’s Mom

It is hard for a diabetic dog to control their temperatures. In this heat I little puppies have suffered. My son bought son bought Sophie her bed last month because of her constant heavy panting. From her first nap she has refused to sleep anywhere else. No more heavy panting and she gets a wonderful night sleep, and since she sleeps in my bed, so do I.

Perfect

I bought one last year because the air conditioner in the car stopped working. We take our dog everywhere and keep a bed in the car. This fits perfectly and after a good walk she finds it great to sleep on. We liked it so much we bought a second one for her stroller because we spend a lot of time outdoors.

Cool Bed III

Absolutely the best cool pad on the market. We have a very furry rough collie and he loves to sleep on the Cool Bed III. It is comfortable and cools his warm body. We have one in the bedroom and one in the front room.

Bought two large cooling pads, one for both our dogs. It indeed keeps them cool - cools them down immediately when they come in panting from playing outside. Love this product and would highly recommend it .

With adding water how would mold or smell be prevented

  1. Thank you for your interest in this product. Please give us a call at 877-738-5188 so we can better answer questions you may have.

Does the pad stay cool all day, or does the dog need to get off for awhile?

  1. The Cool Bed III will remain ambient air temperature, which is normally quite a bit lower than your dogs body temperature. The water inside wicks the heat from your pet and dissipates it into the air. The more of the surface your dogs takes up on the Cool Bed III, the longer it will take for the heat to dissipate, so you want to order a bed that will allow the heat to dissipate quickly. Please refer to the images of the product with the dogs on them, these images depict the correct amount of open space around the pet.

I bought a K&H Cool Bed 3-4 years ago. Would that have been the same version as the Cool Bed III

  1. If the Cool Bed you purchased years ago is gray in color, then yes, it should be the Cool Bed III. If it is tan in color then it is not the Cool Bed III.

Has anyone ever put one of the cooling beds in a car? I was wondering if the uneven lie affects it.

  1. Many breeders and show dog owners use the Cool Bed III for travel. For the safety of your pet we suggest placing it in an area that is secure to prevent sliding during a sudden stop. Also be careful when moving the bed, it is full of water so it will be heavy.

How big of a problem is leaking with the K & H cooling beds?

  1. I had trouble with the big one leaking after maybe having it for 3 months. I tried to contact the company to see what could be done about it, but got no response at all through email. That being said....I have a 70 pound heavy boy and he loved that cooling bed, so the next summer I bought him a smaller one. This one came with a raised bed it hangs from, which Jack didn't appreciate, so I just laid it on the floor, but he's all over it and he needs it in Texas! This one hasn't leaked at all and I'm very happy with it. After a good walk or play outside, he's one hot boy and loves to come inside and plop right down on his til he cools off.
