The ultimate dog backpack
This is the ultimate dog backpack! I zipped and buckled my miniature schnauzer in and he is essentially “wearing the sack, with his 2 front legs sticking out the slots and his collar buckled in. He tried riding on a bike with my husband and loved it! We will use this a lot! I just ordered his custom name patch for it.

Great material
The material is good quality and the stitches are great. For a medium, my 15 lbs has a lot of room. What I don’t like is that he sits really far back rendering the chest strap useless no matter how I adjust the backpack

9lb chihuahua loves it

- All of our main carriers have side pockets designed to carry most sizes of water bottles and our PLUS 2 and ROVER 2 models can also accommodate a water bladder.

can this be worn in front of you or just as a backpack?
- So far, all models of K9 Sport Sack are designed to be worn on your back with the dog facing forward. We designed them this way in order to allow for hands-free activities such as hiking, biking, walking, etc. You could potentially wear the pack in front but your dog would be facing you which might not be ideal.

I have a 33 lb dog. Is the large sized backpack big enough for him?

Will this product work for a 6lb chihuahua or is it too large? Any help would be appreciated on this. Thanks!
- It might, it depends on the girth which is their chest and the length is from base of tale to the collar. If you go to their website it gives measurements. The Extra Small is fir chihuahua but check the measurements. the length for Extra small is 10- 13 in collar to base of tail and up to 23 in girth. I have a Frenchie and she is 22 in in her girth and about 18-19 in length and I got a med. for her. Really, just measure you pup. If not there are other carriers that will fit, most are all really small (check the forward facing dog carrier, in the search engine a bunch come up) I got this because it's the one I could find that was big enough for her. - Probably a small, but please measure from the collar to the base of the tail for the most accurate fit. Here are our most common sizes: Large (20”-23” from collar to tail) Medium (17”-20” from collar to tail) Small (13”-17” from collar to tail) X-Small (10”-13” from collar to tail)

I want to take my shih tzu along on runs, he obviously can’t run along with me so I’m looking for something I can use to take him with is this sturdy enough that he won’t be bouncing all over the place? I’m undecideds about this or a stroller
- Hello we do have many runners use the K9 Sport Sack. The key is a snug fit for the least amount of movement.

- Some dogs stand in the K9 Sport Sack when they are first introduced to this type of carrier. After a few minutes, most will settle into the "begging" position with their hind feet tucked and sitting on their bum. Depending on your bichon's measurement, a small or medium would likely be best. Measure from the collar to the base of the tail and use that measurement to determine the proper size to order. Large (20”-23” from collar to tail) Medium (17”-20” from collar to tail) Small (13”-17” from collar to tail) X-Small (10”-13” from collar to tail)
