What do you recommend feeding a dog that has been diagnosed with cancer and is losing weight?
My four month old dog might have cancer. I want to put her on a diet or add beneficial things to her diet in case that it is. She will be going to get a biopsy on Monday to assess her swollen lymph nodes on her back legs. The vet we go to has her eating raw mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, turmeric and broccoli. I was also told to give her omega 3, so i have fish oil for her. The trainer at pet co recommended the picture below. Someone else recommended a raw diet ... currently she is eating Origen

Tot has a nasal tumor and chicken and rice is the only thing she wants to eat that does not cause diarrhea. I want to keep giving her the chicken and rice, since she loves it, but I know this is not nutritionally adequate. She is still a happy dog, with the usual senior energy level. Can I add vitamins or a nutritional supplement to help ? She also takes vetmedin, Lasix, and Enalapril for heart disease. My regular vet suggested a nutritionist, but they want $400..

My dog was recently diagnosed with cancer. She has masses in her liver and part of her stomach. We are having a difficult time getting her to eat and keep food down. Do you have any recommendations for what to feed her? She is a 50lb boxer.
I'm desperate to find a high quality dog food (wet) that would be good for my 8 year old Dachshund who has Cushing's Disease, an enlarged liver, gastric ulcer and is overweight. I love her so much but this Cushing's disease really took me for a loop and it's like everything I feed her makes her stomach hurt and she sits in the corner and cries and cries. Getting and has many new Fatty tumors. She has been on Natural Balance Duck,Chicken and Salmon wet food for a long time and Science Diet for years before the Natural Balance she loves the Natural Balance very well but i'm having trouble keeping up with her arthiritis needs.
