This food helped keep my 16 year old dachshund Lulu alive. She had four diseases and i finally had to let my sweet angel go.

Gave my dog bloody diarrhea

Sarah P.

I don’t know what’s in this, but it was recommend by my vet to get my dog on a lower protein diet due to medication’s for congestive heart failure stressing her kidneys. I have changed my dogs diet and proteins many times over the years and never had an issue with it giving her G. I. upset. Less than a tablespoon mixed into her current food destroys my dog’s gut. I don’t know what’s in this but highly recommend avoiding.

Dry

Our dog was switched from Farmers Dog because of several bouts of pancreatitis. Has too much fat for our vet. Rizzo loves JustFood but to us seems sort of dry

Yay, finally my Sunny likes her food and No diarrhea!

My Standard Poodle Sunshine has a “sensitive “ digestive system with many triggers. Ever since I got her, as an 8 week old puppy, there have been significant issues- she would eat her food happily but have diarrhea. The breeder was no help. I was feeding her what she ate at the breeder’s. Eventually she was on prescription food - no more diarrhea but she didn’t like the food. I tried so many options with input from the vet, but if she enjoyed the food, there was diarrhea… Finally the vet (a different one in a different practice), suggested JustFoodForDogs. What a difference!!!! I am still transitioning her, but the diarrhea has stopped, and she likes the food!!!!

Dog intolerance

My dog had an intolerance or allergy to this food unfortunately, so I have so much leftover that’ll be wasted. Disappointing because he enjoyed it, but I gave him really bad diarrhea for a week

We’re trying this because our veterinary internist suggested it. But I’m not sure whether it’s making a difference, and my dog does not love it.

Balanced Remedy

I have been feeding Jolie the Beef and Russet Potatoes for years. Recently she developed pancreatitis from stress not the food. Because she has to be on a low fat diet not I switched to Balanced Remedy. She likes the food good enough, but it is kind of messy. The rice sticks to her beard and the consistency is kind of weird. But it has helped her through this crisis and we will stick with it.

The product was very dry and seemed somewhat freezer burnt. I’ve always loved all of the JustFoodForDogs products in the past butthis one was not up to your usual standards. .

2 dogs eat grass, 1 scratches & is on apoquel & needs to lose 10lbs, the other bites/licks feet. Need info about food that is best to discuss with my vet who works very well with me & the pets. Concerned about hi protein for older, small dog or any dog.

  1. Just Food for Dogs Balanced Remedy has been the best thing i have ever fed my dog. He had been over weight and his stomach is very sensitive to most dog food that I have ever given him.  He is a senior dog and doing awesome on this food.  His skin and coat look amazing.  Super high quality.  We will never switch.  They have several different Veterinary formulas to choose from depending on your dogs needs.
