Great quality food, my dogs loved it! You can actually see the ingredients of the meat and vegetables, unlike another brand I’ve tried.

My very picky eater loves JFFD! It's the one food we've found that he will consistently eat.

I wanted to try this fresh food for dogs and this product falls way below all other fresh foods. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Sure, this may be better than kibble, so if it is between this and kibble, for sure, buy this. But know that there are so many other better and more nutritious fresh dog food options out there for you to settle with one loaded in carbohydrates. The amount of carbohydrates included is unreasonable and may be a way for the company to save money on quality products. There are too many healthy food options to make a balanced meal, why include carbohydrates? Just Food for Dogs company seems to not want the focus on this subject, because they have deleted my comments and questions regarding this and appear to want to silence customers who seem concerned. In the words of a well known expert on pet and species specific nutrition, Dr. Karen Becker: "I recommend you steer clear of any commercial pet food that contains a high percentage of carbs, no matter your dog’s age or weight. The presence of excessive carbohydrates (starch) in commercial pet food is marketed to consumers as a healthy addition for "energy", very similar to how carbs are marketed in human food. Carbohydrates in excess of 20% can offset the amount of protein from meat that’s necessary for a healthy body to function over time." Think about that before purchasing this product.

Good variety to try them all. My dog loves them all.

Have tried only two flavors and my dog was not excited by either. He does eat some but not enough to meet nutritional needs. Hope the other flavors are better received.
