is this the same as the frozen one you sell ?
- No, this is not the frozen JFFD renal support food. It's pantry fresh in a box. I keep it on hand in case I run out of the frozen or for emergencies (if the power goes out, etc). My dog loves it.

Noticed 12 yr. F. Lab Retriever having trouble releasing urine. Visit to vet for vaccine, felt dogs tummy and suggested ultra sound. Suggested immediate surgery because many stones seen. After surgery said most stones ever seen. I saw them, 15 lbs of stones. Says needs to be on Royal Canine Urinary SO dog food for life. She is not tolerating more than 1/2 her food being this food. Am mixing with her old food Blue Buffalo Senior. Now suggesting other Brand. Need special food for life?

My dog has been on a homemade diet after being diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease. I have been giving high quality lean protein with white rice & squash along with supplements-Hawthorne berry, CoQ10, ipakitine & vitamin b12. Now that I've reduced the protein even more in his meals, he doesn't seem as interested in eating as he was. Can I add chicken broth? Homemade with just dark chicken meat - no bones as I know they are high in phosphorus or will this addition be too high in protein?
Hi! Tony has been eating wet/canned royal canin aging 12+ , he’s 18 years old , and I wanted an opinion on this food as far as senior diets go. My 15 year old cat has stage 2 kidney disease. She shows no changes in her personality or daily habits. She will not eat any of the renal wet prescription diet food that our vet has suggested. What would be the best brand of store shelf wet food for her? I have been reading labels for high protein and moisture, good Omega 3, low phosphorus and alot of brands seem to be about the same. She is a fussy eater.
RE: DOG FOOD My dog is eating Hill's science diet 7+ Active Longevity Small Bites (chicken meal, rice & Barley recipe) for years. But I found out Hill's is recalling their dog foods recently and I am worrying the dog food my dog eating now also have the problems. Should I change other brands OR I cook chicken breast with carrot and broccoli for her instead? or other foods you recommend?
