I am making low protein, low phosphorus, low salt diet for my pup with kidney disease. Can this be added to the home cooked meal?
- No, I would not recommend it. ThIs JFFD DIY nutrient powder is specifically designed for the recipe that comes with it. You actually buy listed ingredients and cook with certain potions. I think they actually sell prescription food to help dog with kidney disease. You might want to talk to their consultant.

We have stopped using canned dog food and now make a fresh mixture of peas, beans, carrots and sweet potatoes mixed with ground turkey, beef OR chicken.
