My dogs love this food and as a retired Vet Tech, I love the healthy options for them. However, since I have very small dogs, the food does start to get rancid about a week before we are finished with the package. Do you have any suggestions?
- I think the package says not to refreeze the food, but I do split it into smaller portions and refreeze. I have a vacuum sealer to make it easier to do.

I have been making a homemade diet for my dog whom has dietary restrictions due to bladder stones but am unsure how many cups to feed him daily(he doesn’t like the urinary prescription food.) He weighs 98 lbs. His homemade diet includes eggs, fat free cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, green beans, carrots, rice, potatoes, yams, and fruit. What proportions of protein to carbs to veg/fruit should be included in each meal and how many cups a day is appropriate?

This is Kyro, my 1st dog I've had for 7 months. In 7 months he went from 75lbs to 85. Was feeding 2 cups twice daily of "Diamond All Natural Beef Meal & Rice" with piece of Roast Beef with a teaspoon of some kind of gravy & 1 Milkbone, 1 bully stick, 2 Grain fee treats daily. I cut back to 1 cup with Roast beef twice daily. I don't want to starve him but I want to keep his defined stomach. He won't eat unless the Roast beef & gravy is in his food. new owner (haven't had a dog in 30 years) of a rescued Great Pyrenees. I feed her Rachel Ray kibbles which she seems to like but I like to add something at her dinner feeding. Is it acceptable that I cook and feed her chicken leg quarters with NO seasoning? I thoroughly shred them after cooking in the crockpot and add a cup of chicken to her kibbles.
