great tug toy for your dog

cowboy

This is a great tug and play toy as it is advertised. This is not a chew toy, so if you have a dog that chews and you give it to him and walk away thinking it will not be chewed up, you will probably be disappointed. The handle will be the first thing chewed off. It is a great interaction toy for you and your dog to get in some great bonding time. I highly recommend the Jolly Tug for you and your pup to play with together. Jolly Pet has more great toys to choose from for the chewing dog.

Ozzie The Poodle King loves his Jolly Ball

Bought the extra large horse jolly ball for our Cane Corso in 2005. Our standard poodle came in 2018 & LOVED it! As a puppy, he started chewing the handle so we let the original go & bought his own extra large, two mediums and one mini. Jolly Ball tug & toss is his absolute favorite outside toy. He carries them all in the house but loves to chase and carry outside!

Purchased this Amazon. But it was sold and shipped through Petco didn’t even last a couple days now everybody’s giving me the runaround. some of the other colors have lasted for years and the last couple months we have been been through at least five of these and dark colors and they don’t even even lasted day. Something has had to have been changed with the material.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My dog’s favorite toy. After a year and a half of Great Dane pouncing and teeth, it’s finally not returning to the round kettlebell shape that it started as. The toy has so many teeth marks in it that it looks textured. Such a durable toy that’s even tough for a Dane to demolish. Already bought the replacement, so now she has two.

Questions

Do you think I could use this for tetherball game? Or is it to hard of a ball?

  1. It’s too hard. They break dogs teeth.

Is the measurement of 4,6,8 or 10 the diameter of the ball or does it include the handle?

  1. 4.5, 6, 8 & 10 of the diameter of the ball not including the handle

What size should I get for a Gottingen mini pig

  1. Hello! On a dog scale, we recommend the below sizing based on their weights 0-20lbs - 4.5" (Small) 20-60lbs - 6" (Medium) 60-90lbs - 8" (Large) 90+lbs - 10" (Extra Large)

What size is this ball? is it the 10inch?

  1. The one I got is 10"

So you offer various colors but you select it for buyers. How do we know you have other colors? My money. My choice. You don’t get to pick the color I want.

  1. True, walk in store & choose your color.

I've seen this same ball - same brand - but sometimes the title will state "equine" - are there different versions for horses opposed to dogs? I think the ad I saw that said equine, the ball was orange - could it be the orange is always for horses?

  1. Hello - thank you for your inquiry. We manufacture the same product for both of our ranges - equine & dog. The only difference is the packaging

With the Jolly Ball the handle over time gets destroyed, have they reinforced it?

  1. When our dogs chewed off the handle, I put a loop of rope through the two holes left by the missing original handle, knotted it and they had a tug-toy ball that has  lasted quite a while.
