I initially had an awful review of this tank. Not because of the tank but because of the stand. The instructions for this tank are almost nonexistent. Sure there are pictures but nothing is numbered so that leaves you guessing which piece is which. Not only that but the holes for the door hinges absolutely do not line up. I had to make my own holes and the door doesn’t shut all the way. I bought magnets to at least keep the door shut. Other than that, it seems very sturdy and holds the tank well. The tank on the other hand is wonderful! It is pretty and sleek. It also had no issues clearing up after I added the sand and water so that leads me to believe the pump is pretty great. I also love the black out panel on the back so you don’t have to look at all of the u slightly aquarium additions you may want to add (heater, skimmer, etc.) I love the glass top as well. The only thing I would say is don’t fill the tank too full because the filter sock will float and the water doesn’t flow directly into it. After I took some water out, the tank cleared within an hour. Oh yea.. one thing the website doesn’t mention is that you get two bags of carbon and two bags of ceramic bio balls with this tank. That was a good addition! All in all I am pleased so this is my updated review from my one star review after being so irritated with the stand. I have always loved JBJ and have never had any issues.

First.. I haven’t even gotten the tank. FedEx didn’t deliver it with the stand. I’m just going to say right now, the instructions are absolute trash.. and the holes don’t line up for the hinges.. after making my own holes, the door doesn’t even shut right. I just hope it holds the tank. I wish I had done a little more research into this tank because right now I am skeptical. I wish I had taken pictures too of the holes where the hinges went. I cannot believe this thing was so badly made. I previously owned a JBJ nano cube and it was perfect so this one is unacceptable and far from the nano cube quality. I never leave bad reviews but right out the gate not being able to correctly follow the directions is a no go for me. The pieces aren’t number either like most things you buy. We will see how it holds up when I finally get the tank but right now I am absolutely irritated with this thing.
