This cabinet is definitely not brand new. It’s as if it was being used before I ordered it and then they decide to put a box on it and call it new. Very disappointing.

Purchased this for a non jbj tank. The finish is top notch. Arrived very well packaged and assembled. Has slow close doors, shelf inside and ample space and cut outs in the rear. The siding and top was wrapped for portection. Sits level.

I have had this stand for roughly 6 months. The internal structure as far as shelving and layout of cutouts works well. The overall look is also very appealing. However, the hinges for the doors are too strong and both doors have ripped out the screws on each side. This has resulted in both doors hanging on by only one hinge. For a $700 item, this is absurd and clearly an oversight on the development and manufacturing of the product.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Will a 20gal JBJ work on the 25gal stand even though it doesn’t go all the way to the edge? I know it seems silly but I always get a stand a little bigger than the tank.

Is the top of the stand solid or does it have plumbing built in? Also, is there an interior shelf?

The top is solid. Yes there is an internal shelf with a cutout in the back for tubes and wires to pass through.
