Just know, this is more a tray than a placemat, made of plastic with sides. It is good for dogs who make a mess eating, but the bowls do slide around. I am going to try to place a cloth placemat on it. Even though it is described as being small, it is quite big.

I don’t have missing food and my dog isn’t struggling trying to get it anymore. There’s a one inch border around this feeder so any dropped food will be safely held inside. And the tray has a soft feel so dogs aren’t hurting their feet to walk around in the tray.

I ordered the small in a light gray color, I have a small dog. The dog bowls (food and water) fit in it perfectly with plenty of space left for his messes. The feeding mat is made of durable light-weight plastic and it has rubber feet, which keep it in place and not sliding around while my dog is trying to eat. It’s shaped as a caption balloon with the word “woof” on it, so adorable. Also has a raised-edge so nothing spills out, which means I’m not constantly bending down to clean his mess off the floor, big plus for me. I recommend the IRIS “WOOF” Feeding Mat for any one that has pets. It’s easy to clean, keeps floors clean and it’s cute. He knows nothing is moving like before and his o.k. with that and is eating better, thank you my dog is happier now.

And it’ll catch most of the kibble pieces that they drop. Seems pretty durable and should hold up for a while.

The good point is when he eats he stands on it and the water dribbles on to the-mat not my laminate floor. I used to put towels under the bowls this is much cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Iris feeding mat is adorable--it looks like a word bubble with "woof" in the middle. It is a nice hard, thick plastic that looks like it will stand up to some doggy wear and tear. The size I have is small, and it really is small. I wish it was larger, as it fits under the standing feeder we have for our pup. I was hoping it would be large enough for the standing feeder to fit inside of, to help catch crumbs, but it is too small. It is very cute though!
