This Slow Feeding Bowl from IRIS has been pretty great at slowing her down enough to stop that problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received IRIS slow feeding bowl for long snouted pets, I was excited to receive this bowl in the mail, the slow feeding bowl was a sleek gray color, very study ,I was disappointed with the bowl, it was difficult to keep my dog from spilling the dog food all over the floor, and difficulty in reaching the food, I use this bowl for a water dish, I would not recommend this product

I personally witnessed by puppy eat and drink way too sporadically and quickly with a standard bowl, which was concerning. Since I received this specific bowl, she eats food slower and in frequent, smaller intervals. It also seems her food lasts longer, saving me money! Each of her meal’s are smaller and the correct amount she should be eating. This product is great quality and I’ll have it for a lifetime, but there are many out there like it so choose whatever fits your budget and style!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this bowl because I have one pup that eats so fast she practically inhales her food! We were actually concerned about her safety. While she still eats as fast as possible, the configuration of this bowl forces her to eat smaller portions and it takes her about twice as long to eat. Hopefully she will get the message. Meanwhile we are thankful to have this bowl help us train her to slow down and eat safely. Thank you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it did slow our puppy down for a while he soon figured out how to dump it over and get at his food pretty quickly. I am sure it would work well for some dogs but it wasn’t the best for our dog.

Now they have to take the time to reach the food. Very sturdy and nice color. I will definitely buy a second one.
