Ideal feeding amounts will vary by age, weight, and activity level so the guide below should be used as an initial recommendation. Divide the cups per day by the number of feedings per day. Be sure to always provide clean, fresh water. Along with dry food, we recommend feeding raw or wet food to help increase the amount of water in your pet's diet. Daily Feeding Guidelines (standard 8 oz dry measuring cup): Adult Maintenance (cups per day): 5 lb: 3/8 cup; 10 lb: 1/2 cup; 15 lb: 3/4 cup, Weight Loss (cups per day): 5 lb: 1/4 cup; 10 lb: 3/8 cup; 15 lb: 1/2 cup, Kittens: Feed up to twice the adult maintenance amount. Pregnant/Nursing Females: Feed up to three times the adult maintenance amount shown above. Transitioning to Instinct: Always introduce a new food over a period of 5 to 7 days, mixing increasing amounts of Instinct with the current food each day.

Hi ,my shelter cat Rose had terrible Tooth resorption going on when we chose her despite the shelter saying she was free from dental disease. So the shelter took her back and did a great job on helping to fix this issue. After i did a ton of research on it and was convinced that the probable cause was diet. So i tried a no of leading brands with no luck. I found Instinct rabbit raw boost and toppers and what a difference .Took her to the vet twice last year and the last time was Nov 24th..The vet went straight to her mouth and was dumbfounded that she was completely free of any sign or symptoms of this awful disease. I was amazed myself and was of course absolutely delighted to hear and see this.. Her coat is shining and she is one happy cat now, pain free lively girl. This turnaround in less than 8 months is in my mind due to the Raw Boost and rabbit toppers diet that she had no problem adapting to and devours .So my Rose cat and myself are saying a big thank you to Instinct for making such a choice available .

Charlotte Loves This!

I recently bought a bag of this food for my 12 year old Maine Coon housecat, Charlotte, and she loves it! Charlotte Loves rabbit, both kibble and wet food, and some time ago, I bought her a bag of the Instinct Original Rabbit kibble. (I have some outdoor cats too, and I feed them a different cat food. All my cats get fed good quality cat food, so don't worry?) While the ingredients of this food are great, it made for a horribly stinky litter box when Charlotte went to the bathroom! So I tried her on the Instinct Limited Ingredient Rabbit kibble, unfortunately, with the same results. She loves both recipes, but her litter box stunk to high Heaven! Not so, with the Instinct Rabbit Raw + Kibble! She loves this food too, and her litter box doesn't stink afterward. Also, she digests this food much better than she does other foods, like chicken or fish. With other foods, she often throws up afterward. But with rabbit, she doesn't have this issue. I'm so glad to have found Charlotte a good indoor formula food that she loves, doesn't cause any stomach issues, or any litter box issues. Thanks, Instinct!

I’ve been feeding this to my cat for a few weeks now, trying to upgrade from the grocery store cat food I was feeding. Not sure if it’s just a coincidence, but my cat is noticeably more active lately. Usually she is pretty cuddly and snoozy, but now she’s bouncing around like a kitten and zooming down the hall. She even has been roughhousing with the dog. No litter box issues or anything when switching to this food. Very pleased so far, and I will repurchase.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My cat is very picky, and did not like the raw boost raw bits in the past, but when I put this in his bowl, he gobbled some down, then came back in a few minutes and munched down some more. It did seem to give him a little bit of diarrhea even though he is used to raw foods I give him sometimes. It straightened out quickly and didn't seem to bother him.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My cat was pulling his hair out. Did some research on the issue and food allergies kept coming up. I tried him on Instinct. He loves both the wet and dry food and his fur started growing back. Since we started and in discussions with his Vet we determined he also has other allergies because the switch to Instinct didn't solve the problem completely. He is now on generic Zyrtec 5mg and is doing better. I highly recommend Instinct. It is worth the cost to have a happier , healthier fur baby.

Yes, I recommend this product.
