I’m very happy with this dog food, but it’s frequently out of stock. I’m unable to have it delivered or shipped to my location, so I have to keep an eye on when my store has it so I can quickly buy it for pick up before it runs out again. Unfortunately, it’s not worth the effort.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Used to be Good

I have been using Instinct frozen raw beef and also the pollock for the past few years. My dog used to do really well with this brand but lately she has been getting sick from eating it. She really doesn't want to eat it and she will eat anything! I have switched to another brand of raw and she is feeling much better. I don't know if they have changed the formula or what but I won't be buying Instinct anymore.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good but pricy

I honestly love adding this to my dogs' bowls as a nice little add-on to keep things interesting. However, this product is more expensive than what we buy as their main source of raw food. I don't mind the price so much, but this probably won't be a rebuy. Bag was finished in a week!

Yes, I recommend this product.

my dog Loves it!

My dog loves this food. I would recommend this product. I would have given it 5 stars but for the reason listed below I gave it a 4 star. There is only one thing that I would change would that portions should be in individually packaged to each serving. You have to keep the food frozen, it does thaw out quickly for dog consumption. The hard thing is when it is frozen you have to chisel it out which becomes time consuming. BUT... my dog does "licks her chops" when she finishes eating.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great food, huge markup.

My dog loves this food. The MSRP is currently $40 for the 5.4 bag, so not sure why there is a 50% markup above that.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My dog ate it straight out of the bag

My dog is super picky, she'll only eat fish flavored food. We have a big problem with her only eating the cat food and not her dry food, so everytime I buy a bag of food I get a different brand to see if she likes it. Today was the first time I saw fish dog food in the fridge at the store so I thought I'd try it. I couldn't believe how fast she went for it I opened the bag and set it down to get a bowl and she was already eating it taking bites straight out of the bag. She was eating it with the same joy that she does when she eats the cat food and I'm super happy.

Why is there a $20 markup on the price? It use to be $39.99 so don't understand the huge price increase.

  1. Cost of everything has gone up significantly.
