What is the best way to store the freeze dried food to maintain freshness?
- Hello! Our freeze-dried Raw should be kept in a cool dry place such as a cabinet or pantry. You can keep it in the original bag and reseal it between use or put them in an airtight container. Hope this helps! :)

My whippet eats the Instinct Raw frozen bites, but it takes up a lot of room in my freezer. If I substitute the freeze dried version (& rehydrate it), do I still have to transition slowly over a week or can I change it to freeze dried of same flavor?
- I suggest you contact Instinct directly for this. I use both the freeze dried (I do not rehydrate it) and the frozen - I mix the freeze dried with Instinct kibble & freeze dried in the AM - half and half-and mix the frozen (defrosted) with with the kibble at night my australian labradoodle loves both

My dog is not eating his regular food (kibble) I was feeding him Instinct Raw Boost Chicken flavor and he ate that fine most of the time. I switched about 2 weeks ago to Instinct Original Chicken Flavor ( no raw boost). As far as I know the only difference between the 2 is that the Original does not have bits of freeze dried raw in it. He has hardly eaten anything for 2 days. I don’t think it’s a medical issue because he will eat treats fine. Please help

This is Kyro, my 1st dog I've had for 7 months. In 7 months he went from 75lbs to 85. Was feeding 2 cups twice daily of "Diamond All Natural Beef Meal & Rice" with piece of Roast Beef with a teaspoon of some kind of gravy & 1 Milkbone, 1 bully stick, 2 Grain fee treats daily. I cut back to 1 cup with Roast beef twice daily. I don't want to starve him but I want to keep his defined stomach. He won't eat unless the Roast beef & gravy is in his food. Bought purina one lamb and rice. Concerned on an ingredient. Chicken by product meal? Was taught bad for dogs and can be diesed animals. Mixing with 80 to 20 ratio of food the 80 percent is pure Balance trout and lentils grain free. But some of you say grains are good and they don’t have an allegry as they eat grained dog treats and Cheerios with no problems. The last time I asked this question the vet was incorrect and didn’t even bother to read the pictures I had sent, instead called it dog food and said I couldn’t use it, not a very professional reply. I know some ferrents who feed Instinct Raw to their babes& that their Ferrets are happy, healthy & absolutely love this food. Would only be feeding it in AM, Wysong for entire rest of day. This is cat food and is also grain free, I know Ferrets don’t need fruits but I don’t have time to do full raw.
Hi I have a puppy who my vet wants me to take off of beef to see if this is the case. My 2 German Shepards get raw meat which most the puppy will no longer be allowed but she loves it! I've got beef free and grain free dry food for her but have also been looking into homemade dog food with meat. Would it be ok to feed her the day biscuits in the morning and a homemade recipie at night? My main concern is that she will be lacking vitamins and nutrients. Thank you!
