If frozen real beef recipe and freeze dried is same product seems strange my dog turns nose up at the frozen but will gobble down the freeze dried whether it's rehydrated or left dry. Please give input as to difference of frozen and rehydrated frz-dried.
- Hello! Our Freeze-Dried Raw Meal Beef recipe and Instinct Raw Frozen Beef recipe are the same, but pets can certainly be finicky about different things such as texture and temperature. Your dog may simply not like cold food, or they may just prefer the texture of the freeze-dried food. Sometimes it just takes some trial and error to find the right food for your pet.

Comparing freeze dried real beef recipe to frozen, assuming freeze dried is the same product as frozen just dehydrated.Product analysis is very different, example...freeze dried 36%protein,30%fat compared to frozen 13%protein,8%fat.Please explain why.

This will affect the percentages of protein and fat on an "As Fed" basis as listed in our Guaranteed Analysis. - Yes, but you can use as a topper, mix with other food. Better some than none.

Do you honestly expect regular people to pay $50 to feed their 50lb dog for 3 days?
- Absolutely!! When you feed a raw or fresh diet it is so much better for your dog than kibble! But when traveling or your dog is at the pet sitter, freeze dried is very convenient and light weight. Even if you don't use the freeze dried for the whole meal adding it to your kibble meals will greatly increase the necessary nutrients for your dog.

I’m confused so if my dog is 51lbs+ he gets 4 cups a day. That’s 12 cups in 2 days, meaning this 50$ bag is only good for 3 days of use!?!? That’s not going to work for me. This is worse than the fresh food!

My dog is not eating his regular food (kibble) I was feeding him Instinct Raw Boost Chicken flavor and he ate that fine most of the time. I switched about 2 weeks ago to Instinct Original Chicken Flavor ( no raw boost). As far as I know the only difference between the 2 is that the Original does not have bits of freeze dried raw in it. He has hardly eaten anything for 2 days. I don’t think it’s a medical issue because he will eat treats fine. Please help

My dog's vet put him on a grain free diet due to food allergies. He was recently switched from wet to dry food. It has been a big adjustment for him. My 7 lb poodle mix eats Nature's Instinct raw frozen, or cans (beef). We switch it up, as she gets bored. She gets a teenie Greenie daily, tiny milkbones (natural trail mix), and as a big treat, Merrick's lung treats. Every few months we go through a bout of diarrhea that lasts 3 days, and she then gets Royal Canin low fat gastro can, or ID gastro (as Royal Canin is not shipping right now). Could this be the Greenies? Vet thinks maybe. Metronidzole 50mg does the trick. Your thoughts?
