I own 2 of the first generation smart plugs. Even though they are not the newest, they still are amazing!!! I have had them for about 6 months now. I use 1 for my Leopard geckos tanks. (They have about 200w hooked up to the plug and work no problem.) And then I have 1 on the light for my aquarium. Also works amazing. They switch on and off with less than a minute of error and sends a notification to my phone every time they do so. A notification will also be sent to my phone if the device goes offline. I can also manually turn off the plugs either on my phone app or on the actual plug itself so it is super user friendly! Personally, I would get 2 other ones for essentially any home application! Great product, guys!

Setup was easy, just make sure you have a 2.4G wifi, not a 5G connection. The app you download with it comes with all the features you expect with a smart plug. You can set a schedule to run it. I run my purifier during the day and off at night and this powers on and off exactly when directed.

I found the sound relaxing as well but my husband not so much. I found the Instachew PureConnect+ Smartplug and realized that would be the resolution. It’s a regular plug plus 2 USB plugs with WiFi! Alexa came in handy for me as well! I have smart plugs in my home and this one was just as easy to use and install as the others. Just downloaded the app with the included QR code and it was a breeze. Now Alexa turns on and off my dogs fountain at my daily settings. I highly recommend this product for everyone who has pet feeders/treats and fountains. Great value, design and craftsmanship.
