I purchased the Purechew Snack Treat Dispenser with Camera for a couple reasons. The treat dispenser with camera that I originally had wasn't doing a good job of picking up when my cat was at his bowl. This particular cat is on a special diet, eating small meals of moist food throughout the day and night. I need to know when he last ate. The Purechew Camera does a much better job of detecting motion - and the night vision was a big plus. Now, the treat dispenser part...the original dispenser wins in that category. The Purechew dispenser sounds like a cannon that may or may not be shooting out a cannon ball. Sometimes one treat shoots out, sometimes several, and sometimes none. But, overall, the Purechew better meets my needs because of the camera.
