Best low-carb wet food for cats?
Dear friends; my 15 y.o. cat is chronic renal. she takes 125 ml serum w/lactate every 48 hs. No appetite: I must feed her Recovery & AD 120 ml/day via a seringe in the mouth. The only food she will eat spontaneouly is ND tuna or tuna&salmon. I live in Brazil, these cans are imported, very expensive. The vet told not to feed commercial canned tuna for its sodium content. Question: what if I buy natural tuna or salmon at the fishmonger and give her? Thank you VERY much!
I have tried a new food and my cat likes it. It is 'tuna in jelly', from Whiskas. One pouch of 85g, he eats almost all of it (leaves a little bit of it uneaten). I have seen on internet that tuna causes yellow fat disease. Can i feed it to him once a day? Also he is an adult cat. I don't know the exact age(i found him he was a stray and he's been with me ever since.) A picture of pack contents is attached.

My kitten is 4 months old. She refused to eat any wet food that comes in a can. I tried Iam (individual portions in plastic containers) she eats it but not so much anymore, tried more caned food... no luck. Now I tried Wiskas kitten wet food in plastic containers individual servings and she likes it. What can I do to get her to eat the good quality wet food or the ones she likes are really bad? Hello. I am currently feeding my 1 year old cat Royal Canin Selected Protein PR Dry Cat Food due to his food allergies. All is good and well with the food but I was wondering if anybody had suggestions for treats? He cannot have chicken or seafood of any sort. I've tried PureBites and he wouldn't touch them. Any brands of treats that you guys recommend? I am also open to making homemade treats if that's a good place to start.

I have 10 rescue cats, all ages from 2 months to age 4. I have been feeding them Purina one wet/dry mix daily. I however feel that the cats over 1 year should be eating kibble for urinary health to keep them from getting urinary tract infections. Is that a good option you would recommmend for their daily food? Is Purina honestly a decent and healthy brand? I want what is healthy for my cats but of course cost worthy too. Thank you.
