Best low-carb wet food for cats?
Dear friends; my 15 y.o. cat is chronic renal. she takes 125 ml serum w/lactate every 48 hs. No appetite: I must feed her Recovery & AD 120 ml/day via a seringe in the mouth. The only food she will eat spontaneouly is ND tuna or tuna&salmon. I live in Brazil, these cans are imported, very expensive. The vet told not to feed commercial canned tuna for its sodium content. Question: what if I buy natural tuna or salmon at the fishmonger and give her? Thank you VERY much!
I have tried a new food and my cat likes it. It is 'tuna in jelly', from Whiskas. One pouch of 85g, he eats almost all of it (leaves a little bit of it uneaten). I have seen on internet that tuna causes yellow fat disease. Can i feed it to him once a day? Also he is an adult cat. I don't know the exact age(i found him he was a stray and he's been with me ever since.) A picture of pack contents is attached.

My kitten is 4 months old. She refused to eat any wet food that comes in a can. I tried Iam (individual portions in plastic containers) she eats it but not so much anymore, tried more caned food... no luck. Now I tried Wiskas kitten wet food in plastic containers individual servings and she likes it. What can I do to get her to eat the good quality wet food or the ones she likes are really bad? I have 10 cats all ranging from 1-5 years of age. I have been feeding them wet/dry mix food. They are eating Purina one Urinary tract health in both wet and dry food. Is this ok to give them that kind in both wet and dry or should I consider mixing the Urinary health dry food with the Purina beyond wet food instead? Thank you
My cat is addicted to Purina Fortiflora. In addition to being hideously expensive she won't eat her food without it. She goes through at least 2 packets a day.
