With proper use, this kit offers 260 tests for pH levels from 5 to 9.Levels of pH can fluctuate based on the pH of your incoming water, substrate and decor, and environmental factors such as oxygen and CO2 levels within your aquarium. For me, i didnt really like this product. The instructions didnt match the bottle so i wasnt sure which to follow. It also said my ph levels were too high when another kit i tried said they were just fine.

I have always used test tube style kits to monitor and maintain my fish tanks over the years and the full kits rarely include a wide-range pH vial so when I had the opportunity to snag this kit I took advantage! Since I started using Imagitarium products I have found that I can save money and still get the same quality, if not better, than I have come to expect from the higher priced more well-known brands. This kit has been a great addition to my tank’s maintenance routine and definitely has enough product to last several months. The vial is a nice thick glass and does not feel as fragile as others I have used in the past (I have broken my fair share over the years) and the instructions are clear and easy to understand.

I was have an issue with my small aquarium. I could not keep any fish alive...just guppies. We tried everything waiting for over week to get new fish. Buying the water from the store and cleaning the water. Hoping this helps keep my guppies alive

What is especially useful about this Imagitarium Wide-Range pH Test Kit is just that -- that it measures pH in a wider range than all of the others that I have tried before. I have been struggling for a really long time to get our aquarium into 7.2 neutral range. But, I didn't know until I used this one, that our aquarium was so much farther too-acid. So, I have increased my efforts to slowly bring the pH up, and I have been using this test kit twice a week. Another feature that I appreciate about this test kit is the ease of reading the measurements. The reading comes from comparing the color of light shining through the test liquid itself, not just the small color dot on a test strip. I feel that the quality of the comparison chart is very high. It also shows pH for both freshwater and saltwater. I hadn't realized that there was an important difference here before working with this test kit. Thank you!

Easy to use, instructions are easy to use and understand. Comes with everything you need. Fish tank is all good, thankfully, and now i have plently to test it as often as I need to. Works as it should and I am happy with the product

The enclosed bottle says add 4 drops while the instructions say to add 3 . Such a stupid thing. Luckily I read an answer to someone else writing the same thing and supposedly 3 drops is correct.

The imagitarium wide range ph test solution bottle says 4 drops and the instruction sheet says 3 drops??? Which is it? Very confusing
- Hi Pattyv11, Good day! The manufacturer has confirmed that “3 drops” is the accurate statement. And they will make the necessary updates to the packaging. They want to convey their apologies and thank you for this. That said, the use of “4 drops” will not yield an inaccurate test result as there is some buffer for accidental drops – in testing, the use of more than 5 drops can start to yield an inaccurate result.
