its good product but just not for leopard geckos like the picture suggests, my leopard gecko started eating it as soon as i put it in I instantly got scared he would choke and took it out, the girl who reviewed said hers got sick, thats on her for not being more cautious. take better care next time pft..

I like this sand. I used it for my little girl and have never had an impaction problem. She eats from hand and bowl.

This sand is not for leopard geckos. Mine got very sick from it and caused her to not eat for some time and her digestive system wasn’t flowing. This was because she had accidentally ingested some of it. I would not recommend.

I don't know why anyone would ever buy sand for a reptile. here's why. when sand gets wet it gets clumpy. think of building a sandcastle. and because this has calcium on it encourages the animal to eat it. Therefore it gets wet in their stomach, this means they can not digest it and it clogs there stomach then they can not eat and they will die. this is called impaction. if you want a desert look for reptile carpet and sand mat. do not use loose substrate. if you don't believe then look it up. you will find a bunch of different source saying exactly what I siad

Sad that it was on clearance because I would definitely buy more. My dragons love it and the purple is not to bright nor too dark.
