External Care: Use a soft cloth and ammonia-free glass & acrylic cleaner to keep outside of aquarium clean. Replace filter media monthly (if applicable). Internal Care: A 10-25% water change every 2-4 weeks is recommended. Scrub aquarium wall with appropriate glass or acrylic scrubber to reduce algae growth. Evaporation is common, ensure water level is maintained.

I love the tank, but the light and filter not so much. The price before was okay ($100), as it brought everything needed, but realistically you’ll need a new filter within a few months. I went to buy another one of these tanks, and noticed that the price went up from $100 to $115. When I asked customer service why they had increased the price, they told me it was for better quality light and filter, but when I asked them what was different, they were describing the tank I already had which I bought two -three months ago… when I spoke to another customer service agent, they told me that Petco has different prices online and in store. My petcos in-store price was 100$ without sale. Online, their promotion brings it down to $90, whereas now it’s $100. Still no explanation of what’s different. Ultimately, is you want a long and shallow tank, this is a good option. But their honesty and trustworthiness has gone down in my book.

Same issue with the filter. Thought the tank was leaking so I freaked out and bought a new one... turned off the filter and the leak *magically* stopped. The foam adhesive pad is also too thin for my liking so I ended up getting a cheap pad at the craft store and cutting it to size. I really wish that this tank came with a lid, the light is solid and better than most kits. Overall, love the dimensions of the tank,everything else is meh.

The tank itself is lovely, I love the dimensions for my betta with long fins who can easily reach the surface while still having plenty of free swimming space, but the filter just broke after less than a month of use. VERY disappointing and frustrating, as I had FINALLY gotten the tank cycled and added my fish just the day before. I recommend the tank itself especially for betta owners, but have a backup filter ON HAND or just start with your own higher quality one from the start.

Hi Sivamay, Good day! The term "low-iron glass" is unfortunately an industry term and not something that can be qualified or certified. That said, we use aquarium glass which has a low rate of discoloration (ultimately, what is marketed as low-iron glass). Thanks
