Helps speed up cleaning
Well made item but I maybe should have ordered a little smaller one, however, it did the job. Because of the substrate we use, we did also lose a little of the larger bits of fill. Makes clean up faster though!

Sturdy and great size
Very well made and will definitely hold up to cleaning in all of our reptiles tanks. It works much better than the plastic one I previously had. The sand sifts thriugh this much quicker and leaves the remaining substrate all clean! Easy to wash and sanitize between tanks!

Heavy duty scoop
I bought it to use as a cat litterbox scoop. It works really well for scooping clumping litter. It's heavy that normal scoopers and holds a lot more than the small plastic ones. I would definitely recommend for someone like me who has larger sized cats

My current litter scoop does not catch the little pieces of clumped cat litter. Larger clumps tend to break down when scooped causing many little pieces to fall throught he cracks. I need something that will catch those pieces but stillstrain the litter

How well would this work for fish poop and missed food like blood worms? Would it fall through the holes?

For aquariums, I would recommend a gravel vacuum, which efficiently separates debris from sand/gravel to help clean your tank.
