I’m only giving this 5 starts because it’s a great size, it’s exactly what I was hoping for, and I appreciate the person who helped me from customer service, BUT unfortunately whoever packaged it just threw it in the box and put the bubble wrap on top of the item instead of wrapping it around it. Of course since they carelessly packaged it that way, it arrived broken. This is why I had been so hesitant to order these types of fragile items online since I’ve read MANY reviews on similar items that were received broken. You’d think by now they’d be told to wrap the bubble wrap or SOMETHING around the item because of all the reviews about this happening and it’s also common sense. Petco please do better by training these people to package these things correctly! You’d save so much money in the long run because I’m sure you have to constantly replace items when you get the same complaint. I’m not only blaming the employees since it’s your responsibility to correct it! Maybe you need to come up with a different system. Other than that, the person who helped me from customer service was very helpful and automatically sent a replacement without having to return the item or doing anything difficult to be able to get a replacement which definitely made me feel better about the situation. I did appreciate that a lot. Hopefully the replacement doesn’t arrive broken I normally would never write a review because I don’t like to discourage others when I know there’s many benefits from having this store and it’s great to see when they do make it right by replacing things, but I can’t fathom why no ones taking any action to prevent this. Like I said DO BETTER and don’t ruin your business by not confronting something that can so easily be prevented. Rant over thanks.
