Too bright, which is a shame...
I used this light over a 12" deep tank for a few months, and determined that it was just too bright for my needs. The 2 step dimmer doesn't dim nearly enough. If you can find some other way to dim it, it otherwise is a good size for a tall & narrow tank, and does have multi-color LEDs. I wish it worked out, since there aren't many lights out there for smaller tanks...

Great light for Nano Tanks!
This light is easy to add to any rimless aquarium. Works great on my Nano planted tank. I wish there were more custom settings for the timer, but for the price point, it's great!

Worked for a while not for long
Bought 1 and the light randomly stopped working only had it on about 10 hours a day on the timer it had n it randomly stopped working returned it and got another and same thing just happened DO NOT GET THIS LIGHT your better off spending more to get something that will actually last

Good for plants but stopped working randomly
I bought this and it was great for my plants, but it just randomly stopped working. I think the bulb went out? But I would turn it off at night so I’m not sure what the issue was. It was returned.

No instructions
Came with no instructions and I can not find them on the web anywhere. Seems to work ok but I am haven’t figured out the timer. I am guess this light was a return restock.

How do you set the timer start times? There's no clock or numbers...and do the 8 and 10 hour times include the blue sun up/down times or just the full light times?
- Once you click on the timer, that is when it starts its cycle. So, for example, I wanted my light to stay on for 8 hours. I clicked on it at 9:00 AM, so that gives me 2 hours blue light, 8 hours actual light, and 2 hours blue light. So my timer would turn everything off at 9:00 PM. Once you start it at the desired time you want, you never have to mess with it again. It wil turn on each day at the time you want, unless the power goes off. If you want 10 hours of actual light, the cycle changes to 1 hour of blue light, 10 hours of actual light, and 1 hour of blue light. Hope that helps!

When using the timer, my light comes on blue and stays blue for more than an hour. Is this how it's suppose to work? If so how long does the light stay blue?
- This is how it is supposed to work, it is slowly increasing the light over time to mimic a more natural increase in light. I believe mine ramps up for about 2 hours and then goes blue and ramps down at the end of the day too for the same amount of time. If don't like/want this, and that is reasonable on a new tank or if you getting algae, you might try using a standard timer instead that will just turn the light on and off at your desired times.

How many watts is this light
Is the Kelvin adjustment the same as a dimmer?

A "dimmer" controls the brightness of a light by adjusting the amount of electricity flowing to it, while a "Kelvin adjustment" changes the color temperature of a light, making it appear warmer (yellowish) or cooler (bluish) without necessarily affecting its overall brightness.
