Questions
When using the timer, my light comes on blue and stays blue for more than an hour. Is this how it's suppose to work? If so how long does the light stay blue?
- This is how it is supposed to work, it is slowly increasing the light over time to mimic a more natural increase in light. I believe mine ramps up for about 2 hours and then goes blue and ramps down at the end of the day too for the same amount of time. If don't like/want this, and that is reasonable on a new tank or if you getting algae, you might try using a standard timer instead that will just turn the light on and off at your desired times.

How many watts is this light
Is the Kelvin adjustment the same as a dimmer?
- Hi JD401, Good day! A "dimmer" controls the brightness of a light by adjusting the amount of electricity flowing to it, while a "Kelvin adjustment" changes the color temperature of a light, making it appear warmer (yellowish) or cooler (bluish) without necessarily affecting its overall brightness. Thanks
