Terrible don’t buy this
DONT BUY THIS IT DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to my tank PH it stayed the same I don’t know if I got a bad batch or something but the fact that I did 6 doses on a 5 gallon tank and it didn’t improve the PH not even a bit. I didn’t trust it so I had to do a complete water change. Cause how do you add a chemical and it does nothing!!!! I read the reviews after and saw other people experienced the same thing too. I’m honestly soo disappointed in this brand makes it hard to trust because what if I really needed this and my fishes life was at stake and I really needed it. I got the API UP and it worked great you also need so little and it instantly got my tanks ph perfect
No, I do not recommend this product.

pH no go up
Bought this yesterday along with API's version. USed whole bottle and pH never budged. One dose of API and it worked. So don't waste your $ on this one.

No increase or improve pH
Just bought it to increase pH in my 75 gallon fish tank and nothing works. The level stayed the same after added every dose and ended up used whole bottle. No good! So, I bought API ph up and it worked with one dose. I would recommend you to get API ph up instead and not this brand name.

Works OK
Works OK. Not a huge fan of liquid pH products. This seems to have the best effect of done in conjunction with a water change, meaning mixing it in the bucket before the water goes in the tank.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great product!
I bought this about a week ago after my tank's ph went into a downward spiral after my power filter broke AFTER I replaced all the gravel and decorations. My ph went so low that it wouldnt even read on the test strip! I followed the recommended dosage, and sure enough my ph came up to normal! Excellent product!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Hard to follow instructions
I had a hard time following how to use it. It seems to work but you have to have the ph tester kit to make good use out of it.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Is this safe for Axolotls?
- Hi LauraA11, Good day! Axolotls can handle a wide pH range. If you are using it using it to treat water that is being used to do a water change it will be fine. For example, you have tap water that is higher that you want to bring down before introducing. However, we would not recommend using the product to quickly change the pH of the water they are living in as they are sensitive to rapid pH adjustments. Thanks

i bought this and it worked for my 60 gallon but how often do i need to put in the tank so the ph doesnt go down?
- Hi wolf46. Good day! There is not a stock answer for this question as there are several things that affect pH; including amount of livestock, amount and type of food introduced, alkalinity of the water, amount of water changes being done etc. so every aquarium is different. I recommend the aquarist test his water over a few days and see how much the pH drops, they can then use that result to determine amount and frequency of pH Increaser to use. Limit pH changed to no more than .2 per day. Thanks,

I can't find any information about an active ingredient. Is this product a sodium bicarbonate derivative? Does it also raise kH?
