We are moving across country, ould this work to transport my Betta fish in my car.
- We used this to transport a beta fish multiple times for 3 hour rides. My daughter was at College and she would bring her fish home for holidays and summer. It worked great. Good Luck!

I have a green lantern platy fish and she is pregnant, would this tank be good for her to be put in for her to give birth because the tank she is in has 2 other fish and 2 snails and i don't want them to eat the babies.
- Hi Nati07, That habitat would not be sufficient for keeping her platy in. The fish would need a tank with proper filtration and heat. Adding more hiding spaces to the current tank is also an option. how long Will a beta live in here?
- Not sure how long a Beta will live in it, but we've had a fair goldfish (think ping-pong balls) alive in one for almost 8 years.

Would this be a good “permanent” tank to hold a betta fish? Not just temporary but as it’s tank instead of a big huge one.

- Not sure on specific needs of that fish, but we've had a gold fish in ours for 7 years with no plants & no filtration.

- Depends on type of fish, etc. I use as grow out for baby guppies, with a sponge filter and TONS of plants. Similar would be ok for one betta. Remember...bigger is better with fish tanks sizes for pretty much all fish.

I bought a few baby Bettas, the person at the Petco counter TOLD ME that these fish CAN STAY in the tubs they came in (NOT BAGS) until they get too big! If they can live in these tubs at the store cant they live in the tubs in my loving home?? How big is too big? I have bee told they have to be moved to a BIG tank, like, 2 or 3 gallons, is there any way I can get cheap ones?? If I properly clean, add sulfrate and healthy water could I make a DIY tank out of a food container? HELP ME SAVE DUSTIN
Hi, I have a male adult Mississippi Map, whose carapace is around 5 inches. We have a 70-gallon tank at home, but we are going on a vacation for three weeks and will leave him in a local pet shop for boarding. The shop only allows a 20-gallon tank. Would it be okay for my turtle to be in a 20-gallon tank for a few weeks?
Going to be bringing a few guppies home, probably all females for simplicity sake. We have the 10 gallon tank, master test kit, heater, filter, some Omega One guppy food, and the proper decorations. But I would like to know any tips on how to safely bring them home in my car. (We still have to cycle the tank, so no rush.) We will be getting them from an actual pet store, definitely no Walmart or Meijer fish as those tend to be much less healthy.

Is there any tips to help him transfer easily? My room is quite warm. Should I do it when weather is warm?

I found a baby turtle upside-down in a puddle about the size of a plate. He was barely moving, and there was no creek within a few miles. I took him in and got a 10 gallon tank. I went to a creek and got some water from that, and some little rocks and made a habitat. I got a best lamp as well. What should I do? Should I keep him and care for him?
