Filtered, sanitized and pH balanced, it requires zero mixing, measuring or chemical adjusting. Just pour directly into your aquarium and watch as it helps you maintain an ideal marine environment. Low phosphate and low nitrate
- - Instructions for Use: Monthly Maintenance and Water Changes: Remove 25 percent of the water from your aquarium. Replace that amount by pouring Imagitaruim Pacific Ocean Water directly from the container into your aquarium
- - Filling Your Entire Aquarium with Imagitarium Pacific Ocean Water: Rinse and fill your aquarium with Imagitarium Pacific Ocean Water. Once optimum temperature is reached, transfer fish and marine organisms into your aquarium
- - Helpful Hints: It is recommended that when changing more than 25 percent of aquarium water, pour Imagitarium Pacific Ocean Water into your tank through a strainer from a minimum height of 18 inches. This allows the water to aerate, increasing the amount of oxygen in the water. Water temperature is important. The temperature of the aquarium must be the same as the temperature of water from which fish are transferred. During monthly water changes, ensure that Imagitarium Pacific Ocean Water temperature is within 4-degrees F of your aquarium. To adjust temperature of Imagitarium Pacific Ocean Water, simply place unopened boxes of water in a room that is of similar temperature to your aquarium for several hours prior to use. Additionally, you can carefully remove the bag of water and place it in a bathtub filled with water that is the same temperature as your aquarium

Questions
How do the corals feel in this water?
- Its my default water change go to. Salinity is high sometimes(1.028max I’ve seen) but, is easily diluted and checked with Refractometer. I like to change/top off to 1.023. Gives a little for evaporation. Depending on corals and what water parameters they need…I have bubble coral, GSP, lots of Zoas, Kenyan trees, mushrooms, and pulsing xenias. All thrive and have grown very well using this water. Used it for start up and changes since(I made my own batch twice but, much easier)

What is the shelf life? I have this brand but I forgot I had a couple boxes tucked away :( how long are they good for?
- Hi Berryberry, Good day! Technically natural ocean water doesn’t have a shelf life, it doesn’t good bad. Over time water can evaporate which could cause the salinity to go up. However, since we cannot control how the consumer stores the product. We have a “best if used by” of no more than 18 months from date of production. Thanks

Was there any magnesium removed from the water? Or do you know the % magnesium in the water?
- Hi Beckett00, Good day! This does contain magnesium. This averages between 1250-1300ppm. This is filtered/sterilized Pacific Ocean water, Thanks

Is this Brackish Water? can it be used for Moray Eels?
- Hi MoTown954, A saltwater moray eel will do fine, but that water is definitely not brackish and would be too high in salinity for a true brackish tank. However, many brackish fish including the moray eels in question can be slowly acclimated to higher salinities. Thanks,

I have moray eels and need brackish water can this product be used instead of mixing my own formula?
- If you are desiring less salinity than sea water than you should be able to buy this and add purified water to dilute the salinity. I have purchased this salt water for about 6 years now and it is practically perfect for my coral tank. I do have to add purified water to dilute due to evaporation. Have had no problems with this product.

Is this water good for clownfish? I’ve been wanting to start a clownfish tank but I’m new to saltwater tanks and wanted to know if I can use this as a substitute for mixing my own water?
- Yes, I use this water instead of mixing my own in my 3 tanks. I have clown fish in one tank that I've had for over 10 years.

What is the average salinity. The one I purchased came out to 1.020
- I generally get 1.024 - 1.026 I also add several chemicals when I change water so this might have a small effect on my results. I generally have to raise or lower it a bid depending upon how much water I replace.

Would this be ok for hermit crabs? I was going to buy a little bottle of 'hermit crab saltwater gulp' but this could would be a lot more saltwater for a lot less over a long time. I rescued a hermit crab today so im desperately trying to learn to help him
- Always check salinity of your tank water against either purchased NSW or mixed ASW before adding...too much of a flux can cause havoc with some inverts.
