Waste
Doesn’t remove algae just scratches the tank you would think the pro would be a professional scrapper nope

Exceeds Expectations!
This has worked very well for me as a beginner shrimp-keeper. I have a 5 gallon tank so not a huge deal to have to pass it over spotty algae a few times to scrape off. No scratches on the glass so far. I feel the magnet is actually quite strong, perhaps was improved over the years. I thought I’d have to get a fancy branded one but this really does the trick. I do think it’s a bit expensive (I paid $20) for pretty cheap materials.

Stay away from this product
Absolutely useless, and you won't be able to return it once the packaging is open. Don't waste your money.

Not very effective
Most of you probably know this but you would be better off with a squeegee or a micro fiber towel… I learn things the hard way.

Absolutely worthless
This "scraper" half of this product doesn't use a flat pad, like all the others. Instead, it just has a hard plastic ring, which doesn't make full contact with the glass. When moved, all it does is make thin scratches in the algae, removing less than 1% of it on each pass. This scraper is worse than useless because it only draws thin lines in the algae, which makes it visible. A simple aquarium sponge is infinitely better. I may try placing a piece of cloth between the "scraper" and the glass to see if that works. Otherwise, it will go into the trash and I will avoid purchasing such products from Petco in the future.

Would not recommend . Not useful at all. Had to go back and buy a different scraper.

Magnet won’t wrap around corner
Was hoping for a magnet strong enough to wrap around the corner of my aquarium. This is not it, unfortunately. We will have to physically move the pieces to each panel for cleaning. Do-able, but not what I was expecting. Would not recommend.
