how many inches deep is it? would it work for a chameleon? thank you
- Hi kit678, The height for this item is .71, so this is a shallow dish. Chameleons, however, will not drink water from a bowl. They rely on moisture on plants for water; mist plants 4–5 times daily for 2 minutes at a time so that leaves are saturated and dripping with water, or use an automatic mister or dripper to do the same. Hi! I was wondering what reptile/amphibian/insect/arachnid I can keep in a medium eco terra faunarium? (Roughly 7.5 x 12 inches)

I found a baby turtle upside-down in a puddle about the size of a plate. He was barely moving, and there was no creek within a few miles. I took him in and got a 10 gallon tank. I went to a creek and got some water from that, and some little rocks and made a habitat. I got a best lamp as well. What should I do? Should I keep him and care for him? Also, what should I feed him? I sent some pics to tell size and type.
Our Anole lizard swallowed a piece of substrate bark today, about the size of his head. Will Eco Earth brand bark digest, or should I be concerned about blockage? He's a beloved family member, and although he is acting fine, I wanted your expert advice. Thank you very much.
Is this a good setup for Nighthawk, the first photo is the over all setup, the second one is the side view and the third is the water and calcium dishes. I use an under tank heater that stays at about 88 degrees Fahrenheit and the vines are fake. He has a warm hide and a cold hide with moss in it that’s i spray down every other day. The little box is another little hide that I can see him in. And the background is tile it paper rolls that were painted(they were left to dry for two weeks)

I just got a three month old baby sulcata and he seems to have 3 small sores or lesions on his plastron. he's in a 40 gal tank with orchid bark. temps are 75-90 (gradient) and I soak him once a day. He has a UV light and is also getting calcium as every meal. I am overwhelmed with the abundance of misinformation I am finding on sulcata care. He eats dark leafy greens at the moment along with some grasses. He's not lethargic at all. Any ideas?
I have a baby red eared slider a friend bought from Chinatown then couldn’t keep. I believe it’s about 1-2 months old as it wasn’t even old enough to eat when I recieved it. I have him set up in a filtered tank with a dry rock area and some caves in the water that he likes to sit on. He’s developed a couple small white spots on his shell and I’m worried that it’s some kind of infection but I also don’t know if he’s maybe starting to shed his shell.
My red eared slider turtle is hiding constantly staying under the rock and filter and he’s not sunbathing I’ve had him for 2&1/2 years and he hasn’t grown a whole lot, I’ve only been feeding him 3-4 “floating reptile sticks” every day since then. I’m worried about the little guy should I be feeding him more or something else also I don’t know if his tank is ideal for his species I’ve never met anyone else with a turtle and I haven’t had anyone to get advice from. What is the best gecko or other small reptile for a beginning reptile keeper that is relatively cheap not counting snakes because my boyfriend won't let me have one. One of my local pet stores has tokay geckos and leopard geckos the other one has a couple more options within my price range but I am still asking for advice. I just bought a Red Ear Slider. Ive had him for 5 days now and this is the second time I find a random small pebble in his tank. I dont have any rocks in his tank at the moment. Could it be that he ate pebbles when he was in his previous home? If he did is it dangerous?
