What should I feed my red ear slider with shell pyramiding and how often?Also which heat lamp would you recommend?Picture 1 or 2?How many watts should I get for the heat lamp?
I found a baby turtle upside-down in a puddle about the size of a plate. He was barely moving, and there was no creek within a few miles. I took him in and got a 10 gallon tank. I went to a creek and got some water from that, and some little rocks and made a habitat. I got a best lamp as well. What should I do? Should I keep him and care for him? Also, what should I feed him? I sent some pics to tell size and type.
My red eared slider turtle having 3 inch size, keep burying in sand for several days. Is this normal??
I just got a three month old baby sulcata and he seems to have 3 small sores or lesions on his plastron. he's in a 40 gal tank with orchid bark. temps are 75-90 (gradient) and I soak him once a day. He has a UV light and is also getting calcium as every meal. I am overwhelmed with the abundance of misinformation I am finding on sulcata care. He eats dark leafy greens at the moment along with some grasses. He's not lethargic at all. Any ideas?
Is this a good setup for Nighthawk, the first photo is the over all setup, the second one is the side view and the third is the water and calcium dishes. I use an under tank heater that stays at about 88 degrees Fahrenheit and the vines are fake. He has a warm hide and a cold hide with moss in it that’s i spray down every other day. The little box is another little hide that I can see him in. And the background is tile it paper rolls that were painted(they were left to dry for two weeks)
I recently read articles about giving your tortoise a soak once a week.Is that true and safe to do?What if the water gets into his leg socket where I cant wipe off the water in there?What if i hurt his shell by wiping too hard?I put the food and water on one of the the tank but he seen like he likes to go to the other side where the heat lamp is,making him not eat a lot.Should i move the food bowl or what?Once in a while i would find a white glob in his soil.What is it.Does it mean something bad

Hi! We recently got a juvenile bearded dragon and I just want to make sure i’m doing enough for them. unsure of age or sex. Attached are photos of the dimensions of their enclosure, as well as the description of the bulb we are using. I leave a bowl of water in her enclosure as well as let her soak once a week (the water is conditioned with repti-safe). we feed her crickets daily and she always has a bowl of fresh veg available. (ALL food dusted with calcium/vitamin D3 supplement)

My red eared slider turtle is hiding constantly staying under the rock and filter and he’s not sunbathing I’ve had him for 2&1/2 years and he hasn’t grown a whole lot, I’ve only been feeding him 3-4 “floating reptile sticks” every day since then. I’m worried about the little guy should I be feeding him more or something else also I don’t know if his tank is ideal for his species I’ve never met anyone else with a turtle and I haven’t had anyone to get advice from. Hi, I have a male adult Mississippi Map, whose carapace is around 5 inches. We have a 70-gallon tank at home, but we are going on a vacation for three weeks and will leave him in a local pet shop for boarding. The shop only allows a 20-gallon tank. Would it be okay for my turtle to be in a 20-gallon tank for a few weeks?
