Worked perfectly. No additional equipment needed to make this work in our 10 gallon tank. Kept our baby guppies safe until we found homes for them.

I love that you can see the eggs clearly in this thing, which is better than the mesh type ones, however, the slits on the sides are too big for some baby fish to still get through and into the main tank. Otherwise, it floats great and definitely would work great for an injured fish situation.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Baby fish were still eaten

I had several swordtail babies. They were all eaten by the other swordtails in the breeder tank through the small grates on the side. Waste of time catching the mother fish and separating them.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Can I use this for my betta that has swim bladder?

  1. Hi Valued Guest, Good day! We suggest that you contact the vet or your local Pet Care Center regarding this. Thanks

Would anyone happen to know how long can I keep my female molly in there before she has her fry? 2 of them came home pregnant and I can’t tell how far along both females are.

  1. Hi nnrreyram, Good day! Tough to say exactly how long they would need to use the isolation tank, because we don’t know how long they have been pregnant. Mollies can be pregnant for around 60 - 70 days. Thanks,

Can I feed the baby fish tropical flakes just like the adult fish?

  1. Yes just make sure you smash it really thin.

Are the holes to big for newborn Molly fish?

  1. Hi Fishgirl08, The tank would be good for mollies. Thanks,

Would this work well for new born and growing albino corydora catfish? Could they slip through?

  1. No. The spaces and gaps on the side is almost 1cm on. The middle bottom gaps is 2-3 cm.

Do you lift the lid to feed the fry? Does the food that you put into the main tank get in the fry container?

  1. Hi Eliza10, The lid is one piece and needs to be lifted to feed the fry. Thanks,

What type of tank dose it devide?

  1. It does not divide any tank it’s a little isolation tank that you put in your tank and the water from your tank flows into it

Question for the manufacturer... why doesn’t this come with suction cups?

  1. Hi George S, Thank you for your feedback. That will be considered this as a potential product update. Thanks,

Is it glass or plastic?

  1. It is plastic. It stressed my fish out. I just put the mom in a separate cheap 2 gallon tank with a lot of plants and a small heater.

how Big is it

  1. Hi etghjk, It is 8.38 L x 3.75 W x 3.7 H in inches. Thanks,
