The wire is easily bendable but springs right back when you release it. This gives you enough force to scrub at things inside. For me, I cleaned the return hose for one of my sumps.

Sometimes you have aquarium emergencies. Needed to clean filter hoses to eliminate dirty hoses as the cause of the problem. This was the only product available at the store in my area. Could be a little longer. The length is clearly marked on the packaging but it barely went through 50% of the length of the hoses between my filter and the aquarium. I have a canister filter in a cabinet beneath the aquarium. I had to tie string at both ends of the brush in order to pull it through the entire length of the hoses. Not really great as a hose brush because it isn't really long enough but you could use it to clean ornaments in the aquarium very effectively.

Clean out that accumulated debris in that siphon tubing!! Great to Clean out that algae buildup in your air gravel filter tubes.

I have been using the twin head brush for a couple of years. It is good for cleaning the tubes of power filters. It also stores well because of the bendable handle between the heads. The only drawback, after many uses, the bristles of the brushes begin to fall out.

I have been searching for a small brush to clean the outflow pipe for my aquarium. Works great! Gets in the nooks and crannies.

Appreciate the flexibility combined with sturdiness that I believe will last. Heads can fit through my tubing, clean my powerheads, and more. Great tool!
