I Love it!!!!

I bought this size over 4 years and realized my 29 gallon was too small. I went to Home Depot and bought an inch thick plywood board that covers the entire top, then set the tank on top…I love it, I would just prefer a larger tank because I’m buying new home furnishings. It’s pretty strong!!!

Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought and set up this stand a couple days ago and it is perfect! I have 30lbs of sand and 28.5 lbs of dry rock. The stand made no movement or noise when filling up the tank. Fits my 40 gal breeder perfectly!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not a bad stand at all. Bought because I didn’t have time to build on and needed something quick. I really think people underestimate the strength of steel sometimes. They want it to hold a car not realizing 500lbs isn’t that much when talking about metal . Anyway holds up just fine, looks great and is made of good strong steel not going anywhere . Take the time to level and make sure all your connections are tight and squared up and you’ll be fine .

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not Worth It

This product is highly defective. I was able to make it work after 30+ years of mechanic skills, but this thing is not worth what I paid for it and used just as much money in additional items to make it work as designed. This product requires all holes to be cleaned via a "tap and die set" and the screws provided are not meant for the original holes (they are smaller), so I had to use a bunch of Loc-Tite to secure the screws. This is my first ever negative review, but this is ridiculous.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Broken Leveling Feet

This is my second stand that I bought for in-store pick up. I didn’t open the box until the 40 gallon tanks were on sale again. I managed to put together the stand and went to place the leveling feet and found one that was missing a chunk of the plastic. I don’t trust this to hold a few hundred pounds of water. Is there a way to replace them? I’ve looked on Amazon but can’t find the exact thread size.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Just bought stand for my extra 55 gallon. Put tank on it and realized not only is the top bars a bit twisted but the tank only sits on the corners. I won't take back as ill modify this to my needs however will never buy these again. For the price it really was kinda a rip-off.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great materials but only offers corner supports.

Purchased this tank stand for my 40 gallon breeder. The stand seemed very durable and built quite easily. However, after about a month of being in use and 'settling' it became evident this stand is not of high quality. The tank only sits on the narrow shorter sides and zero contact on any of the braces or the main length of the stand. This is nearly 460lbs of weight only on the corners. I certainly do not trust this stand. Took apart the tank and just used cinder-blocks to make a safer stand. I ended up using this stand with a 3/4" plywood sheet and a 20 gallon long tank and it seemed much more appropriate and safer.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Is this stand able to hold 2 dragon tanks? One in top and one on bottom and is there enough space for bottom tanks lights

  1. Another 40 gallon will not fit below. However I did add a shelf to rest on the bottom support and can fit the 25 gallon front opening tank below.

Can two 40 gallon tanks be stacked ontop of the stand? It's two terrariums for reptiles.

  1. The stand is meant to only hold one 40 gallon tank. It can certainly hold the weight of two terrariums, but they won’t fit because you’d have to either stack them on top of one another or place them perpendicular to the way the stand is supposed to hold the tank. You’ll have overhang and risk knocking them off. You should be able to see the dimensions of the stand in the product description. Hope this helps!

Could I put 2 stands (for the 40 gallon aquariums) together to hold the weight of a 125 gallon aquarium, if the total dimensions match for both the tank and the stands?

Are the feet adjustable? Is it possible to level the stand? it doesnt seem very safe to have 400 gallons of water in a tank that is not level, and no way to level the stand...

    1. Hi jesstrontium, Good day! Yes,the feet is adjustable. Thanks,

Is the tank only supported on the edges? In other words, there is not a whole, solid surface, that the entire bottom of the tank is supported with.... The glass is not supported in any way, unless you make some type of shelf to go on the stand?

    1. Correct, it is only supported on the edges. Though, that is where you need it. Notice how standard framed aquariums have that black ledge around the edges. There isn't anything needed on the bottom unless the aquarium is like over 4 ft. long. or if you have a frameless tank where you need a leveling matt.

    Anyway to get replacement feet?

    1. Hi NewLarry, Good day! Unfortunately, we do not sell replacement parts for this/ We suggest that your contact our Customer Relations department at 877-738-6742 regarding this. Thanks,

What are the dimensions of this stand?

    1. L 36.5” H 29.5” W 18.5”

This would be fine for my 37 gallon that I have correct? Or would that just depend on the dimensions of the tank vs the dimensions of the top of the stand ?

    1. It’s extremely sturdy, I think it would do fine as long as it’s assembled correctly

Hello. Do you sell the adjustable feet at the bottom of the 40-gallon stand? Or can you tell me what the thread size is for these feet? I need to replace the ones I have so was wondering. Thanks

    1. Hi SnakeSkin, Good day! We do not sell parts for this. The thread size is M8*1.25. Thanks,
