Rinse plant in warm water before using. For drift free placement, simply press base into aquarium gravel. To clean simply remove plant from aquarium, allow to dry. Remove any algae or deposits with a soft bristle brush.

Is this silk plant made of light material that is not plastic and good on the outside of a fish. I have a plant by top fin that looks like a tree and the material is a kind you can bend and crinkle in my hand. Is It like that material?

Do you know what silk is? Here's a little background: Silk is a soft, flexible FABRIC. It is the best artificial plant for bettas as it is very soft and will not cut their fins. So, yes. That is what silk is.
