I glad its dead

I've had this for a few years and almost everything about is over complicated and unreliable. Programming is very unintuitive and difficult even with the instructions. Every so often i would check it and the screen is blank, sometimes its the battery sometimes just the loose battery door. Now it wont turn over with a broken gear. Good riddens

No, I do not recommend this product.

Too hard to work

Karebear58

Writing too small on the face. Too hard to figure out. I even had younger people try to set it up. They could not do it either. It over fed my fish by dropping food more than once a day. A clock and an alarm setting would have been sufficient enough.

I used this only for a few months and the fish feeder does not work anymore. It should have a thicker seal. The condensation from the fish tank completely fried it so it will only turn quarter turns or it wont stop turning. And you have to use big food. I tried small food and I come home to my fish drowning in food.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Save yourself the hassle if you have pellet food

I bought this just today - honestly save yourself the money and go with a better product if you have pellet food. This might work better for flakes but I have pellets for my betta and I had to put tape over the opening even on one of the smallest settings just to get the right amount to come out. Just wish it had more precise measurements

No, I do not recommend this product.

Reliable & perfectly fine, just set up from YouTube

Negative reviews are left by people who couldn't figure out how to use microwave besides a single "Minute" button, or set time on an electronic watch. Yes, in the era of smartphones this thing has an outdated interface and screen. However, it works perfectly fine. Reliable and excellent. All you have to do is find any YouTube video on how to set it up, and in one minute you'll be done. If you use small pallets for small fish and have a small or medium tank, then yes, you'll have to tape a piece of paper to cover half of the dispenser slot. That's it. I've used it for a month now with no hitch whatsoever.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not as good as I had hoped

We got this product about 2 weeks before our week long vacation, when putting batteries in, it seemed to lose connection after moving the feeder around, I finally got the time and feeding times set up then lost connection again. My husband somehow got it to stay connected and I YouTubed how to set up...much easier than trying to follow the instructions that came with it! Used it for a couple days to make sure it worked, before we left for vacation. After just a couple days the flakes were clumped and would not come out, due to too much moisture getting in the food container. We cleaned it out, washed and dried and left overnight then refilled and set up again. Got home from vacation and the food container is about half full and all of that food is wet and stuck together and does not come out when it rotates for feeding. This product seems to work fine for maybe 3 days before there is too much moisture and food is ruined and does not come out. Possibly moving it to a different location will eliminate some of the moisture getting into it. Luckily all of our fish are still alive, but they did appear to be very hungry. This will work fine for a weekend trip but for a week or longer, we will have to find a different option for feeding. This is disappointing because we don't always have someone we can rely on to stop by to feed the fish while we are gone. If you need a feeder for more than a couple days, you may want to try one that states moisture can't get in it, and try it out well in advance of when you need to actually rely on it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Where is the link or address to get a copy of the manual? I need a replacement one

  1. Hi Luis B, We sent you an email about this. Thanks,

Why is the user guide for this fish feeder not on your website? It's insane that you just email it when asked. Very frustrating and a waste of everyone's time. Please post these instructions on the product page.

Will this work for Betta fish?

    1. I use mine only during vacations because the amount of food that it drops can be a bit variable. I think it could be used for a betta. The opening where the food comes out is adjustable, but since most bettas are not kept with a lot of other fish, you may need to restrict the opening even more with a piece of tape to keep too much food from dropping into the tank.

Can I set it to release food in 48 hours once?

    1. No. It does 1 to 3 or 4 times every 24hours

    Please send me instructions.

    1. Hi Dougmil, We sent you an email about this. Thanks,

How long do the batteries last and how many days warning does it give when the batteries are low?

    1. Hi TomSB, 1) The batteries span life will depend on the quality of batteries. (2) When the batteries will use up, the screen will appear E-E-E to remind . Thanks,
