i bought this in store, because i wanted something with a narrow vacuum. it worked the first time i used it, and i was pleased i could fit it into tighter spots in the tank. however, now i can't get the suction to work at all., i tried trimming the tubing all around for a tight fit, and still nothing. what a waste of $15. no longer have the receipt or the package since it worked a week ago... very frustrating.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Horrible and a complete waste of money. The pump is very poorly made - I can't even get water to flow through it adequately enough to start a stream.

If I can give no stars I would.. this is a waste of time and does not work! For all the reviews saying it works good, they are liars. The pump doesn’t work, the suction is falsely advertised! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY on this!!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Simple to use, took a few pumps of the bulb to get the suction going, but once it started it was perfect for cleaning my 8 gallon tank. Fully reading instructions helped quite a bit. A bucket with a lip certainly helps keep the clip from popping off.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Poor design

Just purchased today because I needed a longer tube so I went with the XXL since my tank is 24" deep. The bulb works great in getting the siphon started but the suction is poor. It was able to pull the waste from the bottom up to the top of the tube. I removed the bulb and then it started to work great. The flapper seals inside the bulb do not open enough to allow an adequate flow through them.So if your having the same problem, start the flow with the bulb and then remove it and try not to make a mess.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A little expensive but I've had mine over a year and it's still working like new. This is just a great gravel vac.

This aquarium vacuum sucks! It hardly sucks the dirt from the gravel. Took forever to clean my aquarium with it, and the gravel still looks very dirty! What a waste of money.
